I have a 3 strikes you're out rule and I'm very patient (3 separate visits). Customer Service is TERRIBLE and they are so rude, if you can get anyone to speak to you or help you. I stood at the counter to check-out and was ignored, one employee was blowing up balloons (you could at least say I'll be with you in a moment, ACKNOWLEDGE your customer) after she finished a guy walks in the store, grabs a balloons and takes it to her. Instead of saying, Sir I will blow this up after I help this customer, she was next in line. She blows up his balloons. During that time another employee walks by me and chats at the counter with some gentleman. At this point I'm about ready to drop the stuff on the counter and walk out, I notice a sign they've taped to their counter about not being on your cell phone while they help you. They want you to value their time but Watkins surely doesn't value your time. You can find the same party supplies at Family Dollar and the Book Table for much less and better...

First off, don't take young children with you because they have only one cart the I could see and one other lady was using it. I asked for some help and the lady gave me a weird look when I asked for plastic straws and then pointed to an aisle with paper straws. I come back after dragging my three year old on the floor and hauling my one year old over to the paper straws and waited to check out. The lady at the checkout helps the customer and then completely ignores me and walks off. An employee by the register kept giving me crusties and then finally the checkout lady asks if I am ready to check out. I was in line to checkout, so yes I am ready! Read moreI've never been in the store, so I really can't rate the contents. However, I called the store at 1:25 pm to ask if they had purple curling ribbon. After 10 minutes she came back on the line and said "How wide are you looking for?" I told her just 1/4 to 1/2". She said, "Hold on, I'll get the price for you." It was then that I realized she hadn't even looked for it yet. I didn't ask for the price, I just wanted that color curling ribbon! I waited another 15 minutes and when I had just about memorized their announcements, they hung up on me. Customer Service, to me, should be paramount when running a business. I was calling because I didn't have time to run all over town to look for it. I could have driven there and looked myself quicker! What a shame, I was looking forward to seeing what they had.
