Quick Quack Car Wash — Local services in Providence

If anyone has anything credible to say about this wash it’s me because I’ve gone 15 times in September, about 30 times in October, 23 times in November, and now 22 times in December.

When I saw them brake ground for this car wash I was annoyed that this valley was going to get yet another car wash. They seem to be on every block! After construction was completed for this Quick Quack car wash I was happy to see that it was a “car in Neutral, foot off brake wash”. I decided to give it a go. I was very impressed with how clean my car was and how fast it took. Unfortunately, that night, it rained a little bit. Fortunately Quick Quack has a 48 hour guarantee which qualified me a free wash the next day.

I love the wax, rain shield, and tire shine they put on my car. I notice a difference and I love the feel of my car when I touch it because of how smooth and clean it is. During the Grand Opening of 10 days of Quick Quack I went every day! Near the end of the 10 days one of the guys that works there convinced me to sign up for a membership, which I did, and I’m so glad I did! I go through the wash everyday, sometimes twice a day. My car literally looks like it’s fresh off the assembly line.

I highly recommend getting a membership at Quick Quack! I have never had any damage done to my license plates, windshield wipers, or bumper.

Because of the wax, I love when it rains now because the rain beads up on my car while everyone else’s cars look gross and sloppy.

AVOID THIS CARWASH!!!

Went through their wash during the free time when they first opened. After getting wash done I went to vacuum the car out, and noticed a scratch all along the hood in the clear coat, and another in the clear bra. I brought it to the manager at the times attention to see what they could do. I also pointed out how dirty it left the outside of the car. He insisted that it couldn't have been scratched by the wash and went to check the cameras. After that he said that he didn't see the scratch when I pulled in to the wash. He said they would get a compound to rub it out, but they would have to order it in and to come talk to the other manager the week after. Then he said if I would like to take the car through the wash again to make it come clean I was welcome to. I declined not wanting more scratches. Fast forward a week, I spoke with the other manager and he again said their wash wouldn't scratch and went through the whole process we did the first day. Still hadn't ordered a rubbing compound to fix it. Took all my info down and submitted a claim and said he would reach out to me when they would fix it. It is now 2 months since that happened, and no one will get back with me about it, and the car is still scratched. They talk a big game about getting things to be right, but won't put in the time and effort to do so. Super nice staff. It does as good of a job as any automatic car wash I've been to. Good vacuums. I needed to cancel my membership for financial reasons and they have no way to cancel via their website or at the location. I had to hold for more than 15 mins and then they said they would "call me back". I really dislike that shady tactic. They can sign up you when you drive in, but they can't cancel it unless you call. When I can afford it I will be going to a different car wash location until they fix this.

Update: Thank you for your response. I had gone online to MyQQ account. When I click on "View My Membership" then "Change my membership" I had found several options to modify my membership but there was no way to cancel the membership.

When I got the phone call from the customer care, they were very nice and quickly got my membership cancelled.

If you have a website with the ability to change your membership then cancelation options should be easy to find. Please verify that there really is a way to cancel online. I can't claim to be a website expert, but I spent 15 minutes with the solo purpose of finding a cancelation link after logging in and unable to do so.
