Lower Columbia College — Local services in Longview

This school is so far behind. You can barley navigate to important information (which there is little of) online, staff has sent me in so many different directions that I can’t even keep track. They haven’t processed my loan even though it’s been turned in for two months before the deadline, classes have started, I don’t have my books and they haven’t approved my funding so my classes still aren’t paid for. This is so frustrating for anyone trying to start a career path. It’s so unhelpful. I can’t believe how much help they advertise when there is actually little to none

Instructors are usually amazing. Face a lot of microagressions from entry level staff like the new barista and other cafeteria employees but that doesn’t cancel out the teachers who want you to succeed and truly love the subjects they teach. The staff in the library usually make my day. Financial aid staff can be rude, I would say it’s good to have someone advocate for you if you get sick during the quarter to not deal with the different personalities you can meet.
