I visited Friday September 29, 2023 just before closing. I drove here from Portland with hopes of returning home with a new phone and a new plan that isn't throttled after 5 gigs of premium speed data. Within 15 seconds of stepping foot inside this establishment my sincere attempt to become a US CELLULAR subscriber was instantly vaporized. The MILES/WEAR/TEAR on my car, the MONEY to put gas in my tank, the GAS that went into my tank, the DRIVE TIME required to take action, and the PERSONAL TIME required to make the DRIVE....... ALL EFFORTS AND ATTEMPTS INSTANTLY VAPORIZED. Tonight's crew was 1 early 20's guy and 1 teenage girl. Her rude and abrupt manner combo'd with her ABSOLUTELY NOT ATTITUDE have no business doing business in a place of business. Her social skills or lack thereof are currently best suited for a babysitter/prison guard type of situation where she'll remain tucked away from the general consuming public and heard only by the select few toddler-types and parolees that appreciate being force-fed trendy rude and meaningless gibberish in an abrupt can't-do-tone!! While I'm positive there are some that may expect and even enjoy this type of interaction, I assure you I am not one of them. I think it's safe to say that the majority of US CELLULAR customers aren't showing up here for your kinda party either. I won't waste my resources visiting this...
Read moreThe staff here & the location itself is wonderful. I give them 5 stars. U.S. Cellular however, not so much. Everyday I get interrupted at least 5 times by spam calls. I never had this problem with Verizon. U.S. Cellular did release the "Call Guardian" app to help, but you have to pay extra for the premium version & the free version has done little to curb the calls. I did have to change my number when I came to U.S. Cellular so maybe the previous owner gave the number to everyone. Though I don't see how that should be my problem when I'm paying $300 a month.
The 5G service is a joke at the moment. Anytime my phone latches onto a 5G tower I lose all media it's so slow. It won't even load webpages with 2 bars of 5G. I tried reaching out to customer service for help, but all they had available was a phone line & online chat. I'm sorry, but as a working adult I don't have time to sit on hold or deal with the online chat. Emails are easy because I can reply & check in later when I'm free, but they no longer offer customer service via email.

Read moreThe company turned the phone off for two days claiming that the phone bill was not paid. When they later found the bill in their office waiting to be processed they then turned the phone back on. A month later we were charged for the service to be reinstalled as well as the two days it was out of service. They agreed to take those things off but then put the charges back on the next month. When we went back to the store for the third time very upset to have to go through this again the customer service rep was very rude to us. Claiming we should not be upset with her, she has no control over what happen. She told us to go someplace else if we did not like the service. Said that there was nothing she could do and referred us to a customer service number that we had already tried and was hung up on. The store rep did nothing to help us connect. And did not care that we were leaving the service. Nor did they care that the costumer beside us was leaving the service as well. His bill was also mismanaged.
