Found an infestation of cigar beetles in the Angelica I got here. I assume they were still larvae when I got it, or I would have noticed before. Half the bag was put into a jar with a cork, and half left in the bag. The ones in the bag hatched and died from lack of air but the ones in the jar were alive and crawling. I’ve never had this issue buying online. Lucky for me they were contained to the one jar.. but kind of crazy! I would never consume herbs from a place like this since there’s no transparency about the distributor and honestly.. most of it looks super old so I keep it to ritual use.. it’s still concerning they list things as edible though. Food grade herbs don’t hatch bugs.

Response- I didn’t hold onto the herbs.. since they were infested with bugs. If that’s the case then I’m not sure why you have things labeled a toxic when they are food grade herbs and don’t list the supplier somewhere like the shops in Portland and Astoria. Either way, there were bugs in the bag I got here so I left...

My husband, his mom and stepdad and I went in there to see if we could find something to put our son's ashes in. While there we found sealing wax in many different colors, and we didn't find anything for ashes so we paid for the wax and were heading out. As we were leaving she asked us what we were looking for, so we told her we were looking for something so my husband could carry our son's ashes in. She turned to her side and grabbed something off her counter and said this must be for you and handed my husband a urn necklace in the shape of a heart that said "Forever in my heart". I've kept silent long enough. First I bought a ring there and everytime I opened my hand it FLEW off my finger, for a native American Medicine Woman this is VERY concerning. As neighbors We don't sleep at night anymore cause of their disrespect for others. I grow my own medicines They are VERY effective and if 1 herb is found to be infested they ALL should be handled VERY CAREFULLY.
