RATS AND PEE!!!!!!
I just left this restaurant. If you don't look too closely, it really is a cute little restaurant with good tasting food and a cute little front sitting area. The lady who speaks English is nice enough. I thought it was a cute little place worth a good review.... UNTIL I WALKED IN BACK to use the bathroom. As soon as I stepped into the little play area they had set up for kids the smell of pee just overpowered me. I have changed enough diapers to know what that smell is. And it permeated everything in that room and part of the hallway. The bathroom was messy, like a dedicated home kids bathroom messy. Parents will know what I am talking about. And there were no paper towels so I had to touch the door handle on my way out, which made my skin crawl.
The absolute last straw for me was seeing RAT TRAPS laid bext to the back door, which lead to an alley (we'd gotten lost and walked down it looking for the place), AND THEY LEFT THE DOOR PROPPED OPEN. I could not leave that place fast enough, back through the horrible pee room, to rush my husband out the door. At least my look over of the kitchen, which is partially open to the public if they really wanted to step into it, didn't show anything terribly alarming but I wasn't giving it a thorough lookover, either. Just a slowdown on my way out to gage how likely I am to end up with food poisoning. I wish I haf photos but my ohone was in my purse, not on me, and I wasn't going back to take pictures.
CUSTOMERS BEWARE! I hope they get shut down for health violations! I do, sincerely, hope they learn something and re-open much cleaner and wiser, but they need shut...
Read moreI was very excited when my spouse asked me out to lunch asked me if I wanted to go to cupid's aroma. We walked in and the girl behind the desk did not greet us. Their drinks were limited. No regular ice tea or simple drinks. We settled on the chicken salad although the salad was good, what followed was not they only had ranch dressing. I asked for the dressing on the side they brought me the Kraft ranch full bottle that had not been opened had to open the bottle myself (not restaurant protocol) or restaurant professional. My spouse wanted a vinegrette dressing choice which they didn't have. They acted like they didn't care what so ever. And we were the only two there. You would have thought that we would have had better service and the owners and server would have interacted with us as customers. They did not even check on us once in the hour we were there. We will not be back as sad as that is... extremely disappointed all the way around...service, food, and interaction. I would ask if you are going to serve salad have different salad dressing choices. Honey mustard, blue cheese, Italian (vinegrette) ect. Drinks regular ice tea w(lemon) maybe lemonade, ...
Read moreI read about this place online and decided I had to try based on the pics and the incredible prices. Got there only to find out they have at least doubled the prices on everything. Only open a few months and double the prices on everything?? Just so everyone knows the actual prices…Empanadas are not $3.50, they are $8. Crepes are not $6, they are $12. It’s like this with the whole menu. Did they do this to lure people in? Guess it worked on me because I’m at a restaurant so I’m obviously hungry, so I did end up ordering food. The coffee is really good! The food not so much. The crepe looked NOTHING like the pics. The ingredients weren’t even folded into it. Just a folded crepe with one strip of bacon, some chicken and half brown/wilted iceberg lettuce dumped on top of it. I was really disappointed, $12 is outrageous for this. The crepe itself wasn’t even good, it was just a pancake. It was also absolutely freezing inside. 37 outside and not much warmer when you...
