My sister goes here to get things printed. She comes to me to prepare the documents first to send to them. Each time they have to open a document, they charge a fee, so I include both 8x10 and legal sized pages in the same document as opposed to breaking them up and getting charged. Everything is completely prepared and ready when it is sent to the store. When my sister gets there (we have been through this process about six times now, and it's always the same), the employees at the printing counter ignore her, can't find the email, tell her it will take 2+ hours to print, and inevitably end up printing everything in the wrong size. ONE time she went there and got her prints in all of the correct sizes, so I know it CAN be done correctly. Every other time, they hand her a stack of 8x10s where the legal sized pages have been chopped down or give her a stack of some poster size papers that cost three times as much. Everything has been prepared for them! They have no need to fiddle with assigning a single size across the whole document! What is so freaking hard about hitting Print?! ... I am especially frustrated right now because I am (once again) creating a new document with all of the ones they screwed up so that my sister can make yet another trip up there to deal with these rude, unfriendly, unqualified...
Read moreYesterday, I went in to buy a calculator. I had a 20% coupon. The guy immediately ask if I was reward member and got my phone number. Then says those coupon have been messed up all day. Not sure what he meant by that, but proceeded to give him mine. He scanned it and said it didn’t work or allowed to be used. I said I didn’t see it stipulated anything. I went on to say that everytime I try to use a coupon they reject it. He reply’s,” what do you want me to do about it”? Okay… I realize this isn’t your decision but you work for them and I’m trying to make a transaction and you are the person I’m talking to is my thoughts. I replied, “ they need to quit sending blanket coupons out to use if it has all the stipulations in it”. “ not my problem” was his reply! Unbelievable…. Hands me my receipt without a thank you, here you go, nothing! This is why I deal with Amazon and not locally!!! Prime example of what customer service you have working with the public. Read more$1.59 per page to fax, but $0.15 per page to print? I went to self-service side of office depot because they now charge $2.50 minimum to help you and I printed 30 pages for a total of $4.50. Then I had to fax those pages. The checkout wasn’t working there and the total was never said until I went to check out in person. They then told me it would $50+. It cost $50 to fax 30 pages and it didn’t tell me until it was said and done and I had to pay it, there was no way around it because the fax was already done. The checkout lady was no help whatsoever and it was a “eh, you did it, you pay for it” kind of situation. Faxing should not cost that much more than printing in my opinion and I should have been told the price well before checkout, well before it was “said and done” it cost less for me to buy my own printer than to print and fax 30 pages at Office Depot.
