Natural Grocers — Local services in Longview

I was looking for nutritional yeast for a vegan meatloaf recipe, and when I couldn't find it at any of the local stores, I remembered I had NG on a to-visit list and gave them a call; I was not only able to find the yeast thanks to the helpful staff, but I also found some really great vegan products that I couldn't find locally, which was a major win-win!

While I couldn't spend as much time as I wanted browsing the aisles due to time constraints, the time I did spend there was pleasant; the store was clean, there were full-sized shopping carts and smaller hand-held baskets; I really appreciate this cause not many stores offer baskets anymore, and there's times that I don't need to lug around a cart for 12 items or less, and staff were very friendly, helpful, and nearby when I needed them.

Prices were reasonable in my opinion, but considering this is a small store that sells organic, vegan, and otherwise healthy foods that's free of processed junk, your mileage/budget could vary shopping here, but I still encourage everyone to stop by and look around (I definitely will be stopping by again).

I'm sure everyone can find something to enjoy here, regardless of their diet...

My suggestion for this store is to acquire competent, qualified and courteous cashiers. They are relentless in hiring the rudest and uncivilized workers. This store is the only one of its kind in the Longview area, making it impossible for me to shop elsewhere. I am very particular about the products used internally and externally so unfortunately my hard earned money is spent with rude and undisciplined people. May God send healthier options to the Longview area. By the way the person who could benefit from more professional training name is Philip. 12/26/2022

Earlier Submissions below: I asked the cashier named Brittany to charge the total in two processes...one on my debit card and the other cash...she didn't..she billed the entire amount on my card causing my account to go into overdraft ..incompetence and inconsideration.

This place is generally ok to shop in. However, there are cashiers who are untrained who make the experience challenging. Kelly is quite rude and never speaks nor greets...

Outstanding place for unsalted nuts, seeds, grains, loose leaf teas, random herbs, dry beans, spices, flours of all types from gluten to non gluten and to even nut/bean based flours, and lots of other miscellaneous items you just cant find at other stores. Also for a very affordable price usually for items in that ballpark with the plus of being organic and non gmo.

Fresh produce is higher than other stores but at least organic and decent quality. Lots of other products you wouldn't find in supermarkets(albiet some can be pricy). The store also has supplements that I usually have to order online for.

Another awesome thing is they don't charge tax so those prices on the tag are exactly what you pay which I really appreciate as often those prices already can be competitve to...
