Will not be returning to this location. They currently have a woman standing at the entrance of the store doing what appears to be nothing except not minding her own business. I knew exactly what I needed to buy and wasn’t interested in using a cart for 2 baby shirts so I just carried my son in his carrier. While I was checking out she brought it upon herself to ask of I wanted advice and I said NO I don’t want to hear it, but apparently they have workers here without enough to do because she kept talking anyway. She said my son was being tossed around too much. I told her I was not in a good mood and to leave me alone. She said next time to put him in a cart. Those carts are NOT safe for a carrier regardless of what she THINKS. I have a safety click Graco stroller in my car I would have put his carrier into if I had wanted to do that. Please find something for your workers to do other than belittling strangers in your store because this was above and beyond RUDE and intrusive and I will be contacting corporate and going to the Avon Kohl’s for all future purchases. This Kohl’s is only 5 minutes away and the one is Avon is 15 minutes away, but guess what... they have a way better selection, it’s cleaner, and I have never had to deal with an employee there who doesn’t understand that no means no. I am a single mom who works 60 hours a week and goes to college at night, I don’t have a lot of free time to go out and shop and enjoy myself so when I do I am definitely never giving my business to a store that thinks it’s okay for their employees to mom shame me in front of an entire store...
Read moreSet up of the checkout is disorganized. It reminds me of TJ Maxx but TJ Maxx lines move smoothly. I was frustrated by the time I left the first time I went. Went back later that evening and was even more frustrated when I left. The register went down and instead of directing me to the next open the cashier directed me to the one to the right that someone already checking someone out. It was going to be a longer checkout since you could hear the customer had an issue. When I went to the open register she and the customer behind me and the new cashier at were clearly annoyed. There were several comments that I should have my new card and activated. I heard it from both cashiers. I literally had just told each one that and that I needed to use my ID to make the purchase I didnt need to hear comments again. Customer service is so many things but its also about reading the room and knowing when to stop talking. I also dont care for the new card system. It took several calls to get my card activated. I couldnt get into my account no one knew how to help for a week. Its difficult enough to get help with the kohls account and now theres a capital one kohls account. The credit card setup reminds me of JC Penny which is why I stopped shopping there. They have made it difficult to get into the account and difficult to pay and both you and your spouse have completely different cards. It used to be my go to but NOT anymore! Ive been with khols since they opened but they have in general just gone down hill and I wont be going back. I like their merch but its...
Read moreIf you're white-skinned, 100% American, and have no affiliation with blacks, Latinos, or any other ethnic group that racist whites dislike you will be treated like a normal human, and have a great shopping experience. If you look different enough to make the white Americans working there feel uncomfortable well then you're in the wrong store. If you have tattoos or even any urban style that these racist white workers consider scary, well prepare to be treated like a subhuman. It breaks my heart to know there are ignorant pea brained individuals with such a primitive/nasty way of thinking that have the fortune of having a job, and can still remain employed while profiling non white shoppers and treating ethic shoppers in a poor manner as if all non whites are thieves. Its a shame kohls allows themselves to be misrepresented by nasty people who give this country a bad name. I will be boycotting all Kolhs stores, and spreading the word about the unjust treatment non whites recieve at this store. I will not cease or let up until corporate investigates and removes these incompetent close minded hate filled workers. It's 2018 this type of stuff shouldn't...
