Los Alamos Network — Local services in Los Alamos

I am happy to endorse Los Alamos Network. As a senior citizen I was reluctant to make a change that included dropping my land line. But I had heard nothing but good things about this local company. And I was eager to promote a local business that was run well. I have never had a problem or a regret. The billing is efficient, and there have been very few service interruptions that involved me. On the rare occasions that they did occur the problem was solved quickly. I appreciate being advised that there might be loss of service when an improvement to their system is scheduled.

I wish I had converted to LA Net sooner and am very happy that I did make the change when I did several years ago. I don't miss my land line one bit, and my computer service is excellent.

We’ve been Los Alamos Network customers for several years now and have been very happy with their service. They are very proactive with notifying customers when there are issues and whenever we’ve had an unannounced outage (rarely) you can quickly reach them via IM. Speeds are sufficient for what we do and their rates are reasonable.

Before you fall for xFinity’s promotional rates, make sure you ask about the year 2+ cost. Also, ask around among xFinity customers as to how many actually get those high download rates - I know of several customers who pay for 1Gbps and are lucky to get 80Mbps. Los Alamos Network consistently delivers the speed we pay for.

The network interruptions continue, especially on weekends and evenings. I emailed them many times. They seem to only have one person working on sales at all times who answers the phone and responds to emails. No wonder no one is available on the weekends or evenings to help diagnose problems. Consider hiring someone at least part time who would at least respond to emails and document issues on the weekends. This summer is exceptionally bad with the connection issue and it cannot be resolved after repeated communications. In addition, this network was abused before and got reported and now have a low credit score causing some other security VPNs to refuse to...
