I shop here regularly. I like looking for gems. I find that I have to dig sometimes, literally, because there is so much everywhere. But as a thrifter I enjoy the hunt. So I try to ignore that. I have had several unsatisfactory interactions with the staff there. With the main volunteer there especially. Today was probably the last time I will visit this establishment. I brought a necklace up to the cashier. It had two price tags on it. One was obviously the price tag when it was new. The other price was marked where they usually mark the price. She wanted me to pay the price that the necklace was originally. I felt like this was poor customer service. This makes me not want to return. I don’t like the feeling of not being charged a fair price. Even though I didn’t buy the necklace, the pricing strategy doesn’t feel honest to me. Staff can be crusty at some times but treat them as you would like to be treated and you'll find their good people.
