Pet Pangaea LLC — Local services in Los Alamos

This store is great, and Cindy and her staff go out of their way to accommodate Los Alamos residents. This is the ONLY small store in town that I've found that actually caters to preferable customer hours, versus convenient employee business hours, and that alone has made me a HUGE fan. Do you need to stop by after work? They're open! Do you need to stop by on the weekends? They're open! Even on Sundays!!! Do you have an "oh crap:I forgot that I'm all out of cat/dog/fish food" emergency or need to order something they don't usually stock? They will go out of their way to help you.

I've lived in Los Alamos for ~15 years and I have to say that I've taken most of my business off of the hill in the past because of the extremely poor customer service and pricing that I often find in local specialty businesses. However, in Pet Pangaea's case, I'm willing to pay an ever-so-slightly higher price because they are willing to help me, and they make it so darn convenient to do business with them. As a product conscious pet owner I am comforted by the conscious store offerings. They do the work for me so I don't need to search online to know if the food is good for my puppers. If it's bought at Pet Pangaea I know it's good for my pets.

Also, no matter how big the haul their store experts ALWAYS offer to help me out the door and to my car. I always say no except one time I said yes because I had four bags of cat litter (don't ask) and boy was I grateful!

It's been a long time since I've been to Pet Pangaea. It seems bigger than I remember from 13 years ago or so. Anyway everything was fantastic in the store and fun to go through while shopping for my new adopted pet. They have great options for all price ranges. Also some things that I didn't know existed and we're fun/healthy/exciting options. Since I didn't know my way around and also being handycapable I was able to both get around the store with no problem in my scooter and the cashier, Diane, was extremely nice, informative, and patient.
