I rarely write reviews, even less often negative ones. However, this is the third time when I had a problem with this post office. I only go there when I need to send a package. One time I was sending an international package, where the number of items exceeded the number of lines in the customs declaration. I was advised to fill out another customs form to include the excess items. Everything went smoothly. The next time I did the same thing. This time, however, they told me that I was supposed to fill out only a single form. Moreover, they said the package was not labeled correctly, even though I exactly followed all labeling instructions published on the USPS website. It took me an hour to go back home, remove the āincorrectā label, print a new one, fill out another customs form and come back to the office. The other two events were about the official and actual opening hours of the office. The first time, I was waiting for half an hour at the locked door to eventually learn that their computer was down. The second, most recent time, there was a similar situation. I came to the office at 7:55 am to be the first customer, send out a package and go to work. No one showed up at the door at 8 am, which is the official opening time. One could hear they were in another part of the office but were not coming out. Other customers started coming, some of them decided to stay, some others left after a few minutes of waiting. During my wait, I attempted three times to open the door to make some noise and let the personnel know that customers were waiting for them. Maybe they were busy and did not realize it was already after 8 am? After 15 minutes, an employee came out and threatened me to call the police if I ādo not stop banging at the door.ā I asked him about the opening hours and learned that they were busy with other things. I suggested they could delegate one person to serve the customers while the rest of them could do the other things. Donāt remember what he exactly answered, but the sense was they could not do that. When I suggested they could at least place a note on the door about the situation, he stated they did not have time for that and told me to go somewhere else. Apparently, their time is more important than mine or anyone elseās. I left. Similar situations were happening many years ago in the Eastern Europe under the communist rule. I thought, however, I was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAngela is ABUSIVE of her position. She is incompetent at assisting patrons. She refused to help us with our passport application despite an EMPTY post office. Yes, we had an appointment. She made excuses about how our application was incomplete (this was true, we rectified it within 7 minutes), she wouldn't take pictures for us because our infant's appearance might change, various "policies," that she needed to assist the other attendant (again, maybe one or two customers appeared while we were there), that another person had an appointment after us (no one ever showed up for that mythical appointment), and that she needed to "get ready for her lunch break." So, she refused to work for the 45 minutes before her lunch break??? We told her we wanted to speak to the manager. She said he would be back any minute. We waited quietly in the empty post office while she hid in the back. Then she came out and threatened to "call 911 on us" if we didn't leave. Whaaaaat? I do not want my tax dollars to be paying for this woman to abuse her position. She should NOT be interacting...

When I asked to borrow a pen the attendant woman with black hair and small glasses pretended to look for one and then told me to go across the street to buy a pen so I could write the address. I told her I could see a pen at the other attendants desk and she told me I could ask her if I wanted to use it...she then went on to mumble that people always take their pens and told me to go find one. TERRBIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! SUPER RUDE....she could have handled that much differently. If there is a new rule about not sharing pens I would like to see notices posted around before waiting in line for 20 minutes only to be told I need to go across the street to buy one. People like this ruin the charm in this small town. Bring your own pen or be prepared for the worst...
