I recently underwent a scout localized excisional biopsy with Dr. Elizabeth Arena after receiving a diagnosis of atypical hyperplasia in my breast. From start to finish, I was met with exceptional care, professionalism, and compassion.

Dr. Arena is everything you hope for in a surgeon—brilliant, calm, and reassuring. She explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. I felt completely safe in her hands.

A special thank you to Yan Zhou, her surgery scheduling assistant, who was absolutely wonderful. Yan was efficient, kind, and incredibly organized. She made the entire process—from scheduling to follow-up—feel smooth and supported. Her warmth and attentiveness made a real difference during a stressful time.

The procedure itself went exactly as planned, and the care I received afterward was just as thoughtful. I left feeling informed, respected, and truly cared for by a team that understands both the medical and emotional sides of treatment.

All I can say is I really like her.. When I was diagnosed I call it MR.C. " CANCER " I had no clue what it was and I am still in denial. When I first went to oncologist, I was crying from the things I heard. And I was lucky enough that I was with my friend and she explained to me everything what was happening.. but still in denial.

When the day I visited her office, I loved the entire atmosphere and I was able to relax. and the Dr Elizabeth was so warm and kind and took time for me to understand what is going on with my body. she drew the pictures and explained the way I can understand. I Wass there by myself and able to hear her. The way she explained and care she gave me made me feel so relieved. she understood how much I want to continue doing the work with holistic way. She was nothing against my will. She was super warm and I told my family that I met a really great Dr. that I can trust..

I have no idea how my western treatment will be. But I have her so I can count on her to ask any questions and concerns..
