Without going into detail regarding the life changing disease I was suddenly faced with over six months ago, I must say that I truly don’t know what I would have done without Dr. Joshua Ellenhorn. When I found myself in the E.R. twice (two months apart), and was subsequently hospitalized, it was Dr. Ellenhorn who seemed to the be the one doctor who truly listened. He handled the reins guiding my stints in the hospital with great care, confidence, and honesty.

Once out of the hospital, and we had developed a path to recovery via surgery, Dr. E. made sure he was available to me for any and all questions I had along the way. For the record, when considering surgery, I visited other doctors and surgeons to get second opinions and these visits only solidified my decision to remain with Dr. Ellenhorn.

The first robotic laparoscopic surgery went as well as it could given my condition. During surgery, Dr. Ellenhorn was forced to make some game time decisions and plays, and he took the best course of action possible to ensure the procedure was successful, staying the course to betterment. I am now a week out of my second and last surgery and thanks to Dr. E., I can finally see the light.

Dr. Ellenhorn did an incredible job on my surgery. I had a revision surgery done with him and after 2 years of suffering from the results of a previous surgery, Dr. Ellenhorn was able to fix it and change my life. He was so attentive and made sure we got it completely right this time before I went home. His bedside manner is impeccable, and I felt so safe and in good hands before and after my surgery. I can’t say enough great things about him and how he handled my surgery and was able to help me when I needed it most. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Ellenhorn. My bother got complications after stomach surgery and for many years they weren't able to diagnose what was wrong, but even after the diagnose none of the 7 doctors we have met wanted to take the responsibility to do the surgery since it was complicated and unique procedure.
