Dr. Barnajian is truly an exceptional doctor and surgeon. He is personable, knowledgeable, and a real expert in his field. I was misdiagnosed by another doctor for 2 years before seeing Dr. Barnajian. Dr. B properly diagnosed me at our first visit together and just a week later I was booked for surgery to finally correct my health issue. Colorectal surgery is never easy, but Dr. Barnajian made it as seamless as possible. He was readily available to answer the thousands of questions I had before and after surgery. He spent a great deal of time with me during each of my follow ups. And even made time for me when I was panicking between appointments. Anytime I was afraid my healing wasn’t going to plan, Dr. B made time to see me and confirm that everything was healing right on track. And despite never having any real complications during any of these visits, he and his staff never made me feel bad for panicking. The nature of colorectal surgery is very sensitive/painful, but Dr. Barnajian understands this and does everything in his power to make his patients feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. B and his staff made me feel heard and taken care of every step of the way. If you are looking for a doctor and office that will take care of you like family, look no further.

I also want to give a shout out to all of the amazing staff that helped me throughout the last few months of healing. Nayeli, Caitlyn, Yan, Klarissa, Marie, Maribel and Mayra were all incredibly responsive when I was going through the worst of it. It’s rare to see a front office that is so cohesive and really willing to help, but that is exactly what you will get from Dr. Barnajian’s office. Dr. Barnajian saved my life and my well-being. There are no words to express my appreciation for him. I had been seeing a urologist for (over a year) what I thought was a urinary tract infection. She removed a cyst from my bladder and I continued on a series of antibiotics. I ended up in the emergency room which led to a three-week hospital stay.

I met Dr. Barnajian on my second day in the hospital. He had ordered a series of tests and scans and consulted with me. He explained that I was Sepsis with Diverticulitis and Fistulas. He was confident and thorough in his treatment options explaining I would need several surgeries (3) over a period of several (9) months. His knowledge and skills are unmatched and he’s gifted and highly trained in the Colorectal area. He performed all successful surgeries with the use of the minimally invasive Robotics’ technology. This allowed less scaring; faster healing and my body is functioning perfectly.

Dr. Barnajian is a professional, compassionate person with an excellent bedside manner. He’s a great communicator and listener and has a way of making you feel like you’re his only patient. Earlier this year, I underwent surgery with Dr. Barnajian and I am so very happy with the results. Prior to recommending surgery, he utilized various diagnostic procedures to help him understand the issues I was having. After the final CT scan, he recommended the procedure, noting that he would begin with a laparoscopy to take a look at the affected area, then proceed as needed to address what he found. Just two weeks after the surgery, I felt great and could definitely feel a difference in the areas where I had discomfort. Now, six months post-surgery, I continue to feel wonderful with not a single symptom of the original issue.

I so appreciate Dr. Barnajian's thoroughness in diagnosing the problem and his conservative approach to the surgery that was ultimately needed. When I needed to consult with him during the period prior to the surgery, he was always attentive, patient, and knowledgeable.

I also appreciate the quality of service that I received from his office staff, specifically Mayra Torres and Klarissa Fitoria. Mayra was instrumental in helping me schedule in-person and tele-health visits with Dr. Barnajian, and Klarissa was so very efficient in making sure that my diagnostic procedure images and related reports were uploaded promptly for Dr. Barnajian's review.
