I live around the area, and I've had a long history of bad haircuts at different places, and rarely have I ever left happy from a Salon.

Today was different.

After thorough research in finding a good place, I figured I try this place out.

I was served by a lady named Jina, and she did a fantastic job! (Only works on the weekends)

First of all, I've had so many bad haircuts, that I just asked her to look at me and figure out a good style for me. I put my complete trust in her.

After cutting my hair, she washed it, shampooed it and conditioned it. (This kind of treatment I have never gotten in any place whatsoever, except for one place which I actually happened to have a good experience in)

She looked at me and told me I looked like such a different person. In fact, even the owner, which I believe is Hannah, turned around and said that I looked so handsome and that I looked so different from when I first came in. I in agreement saw that she did a wonderful job and I loved it.

It was $15 for the haircut that went by so fast. (Trust me, when I say fast, I mean fast because even though I had really nice long hair (her words), it was a lot of hair.

I made sure to leave a tip, get the business card and most of all, I left this place very happy. They ensure that you are cared for, look nice, and feel good, and I definitely felt good after the haircut, and I know I look good.

This place was worth it. I will definitely be coming back here, and telling people about it. :D

Hidden in a Koreatown strip mall, Hair News Salon is a true find. It has its own valet parking lot, which was convenient since parking in that area is impossible. I visited after a friend recommended Jane for her expertise with perms. My teenager, looking for a low-maintenance style and a change from his dead straight hair, showed Jane photos of his goal after months of growing out his hair. Jane was attentive, starting with a soothing wash, a precise cut, and a carefully executed perm. Despite the salon being busy with walk-ins, she took her time and gave great care instructions afterward. The results were awesome—exactly what my son wanted (as you know teenagers are hard to please). I highly recommend Hair News...

I got my haircut today, pretty impromptu. Im not the most knowledgeable when it comes to hairstyle so I let my stylist, Hannah, choose the cut. She did a spectacular job! I have very fine, thin hair so I've always had issues with volume. She advised me to cut it shorter to help frame my face and styled it to suit recent trends. I also preferred a shorter cut since it'd be easier for me to maintain. I really enjoyed my experience since she was attentive and very friendly. Thank you Hannah! 🙏😊

The cut included a shampoo and blow dry. Its a great deal pricewise. I'll come back again...
