If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I have a priority pass card through my Amex platinum card which is accepted to get into the Korean air lounge. The unbelievably rude woman working at the reception, UNJU SILVER, denied me access because my flight doesn’t leave for 5 more hours! She put a sign in front of me and told me to read it. Apparently customer service doesn’t come naturally to her. God forbid you talk to the customer in front of you who is asking questions to the receptionist. Kinda the whole purpose of your role there, Unju! Needless to say, I asked to speak with a manager and she denied me that as well. At which point, I decided to take a picture of her Korean Air name tag so that I could not only write this review but also write to Korean Air management as well. She immediately covered it and repeatedly made threats to me saying she was going to call the cops. Just the kinda service and treatment I was hoping for with 24 hours of flying! Apparently, you can only go in if it’s 3 hours before your take off time. Due to the fact that they close at 5pm and my ‘3 hr’ mark would begin at 5:45pm, she denied me access. That has to be the dumbest rule I have ever heard of! Why am I paying for such an expensive card with amazing benefits if the lounge doesn’t work with you when there is a circumstance like this?! I know I’m not the only one. Granted, Korean Air is the ONLY lounge I’ve ever heard this rule at. Never have I ever had any issues anywhere else in the world at any other lounge. Seems like Korean Air has some work to do, not only with the hiring department but also with their...
Read moreThe team members at the front desk gave the warm greeting and were friendly. The food was not quite impressive through. I would only recommend the instant noodles and chicken wings, if any. There were several bottles of liquor on the counter for you to help yourself. There was no bar. Only the orange juice and cranberry juice were provided; no apple juice, tomato juice or the can of pineapple juice. In the fridge, only miller Lite and Coor Light could be found. Where’s OB, Kloud or Terra? It’s kind of disappointed. The lounge space was quite big. It should be no issue to find your comfort corner. The highlight would be the balcony seating area. It’s great to sit in the sofa chair and enjoy the view of the airport shopping street and the digital billboards from the balcony. There were 3 shower rooms in the lounge. Well, the shower room looked clean and spacious, but not fancy or stylish. First come, first serve. You will just need to get to the front desk and ask for the room key and then enjoy a refreshing shower. No reservation in...
Read moreI used to come to this lounge before Covid due to priority pass. Staff used to be very friendly and helpful.
Sadly, this was not my experience this time. My destination required me to print out my negative Covid test, and I was trying to locate a business center to get this done. I stopped by this lounge to see if they can help me. The receptionist was speaking to a pair of older couple in Korean in a friendly and kind manner. I was patiently waiting until they were done with their conversation.
She asked how she can help me. I asked if she knows whether or not there is a business center around. She said, “I don’t know,” and did no further action. There was no one waiting after me, and the lounge was not busy. She also attempted to just dismiss me. The way she interacted with the couple and me were so different.
A better customer service would be trying to ask her colleague to see if anyone have any idea instead of just sending...
