Vanilla Bake Shop — Local services in Los Angeles

I was looking for a place to fill my water bottle and spied this unexpected little spot. I loooove cupcakes but was like nah...don't do it. Then I noticed they had soda-and everywhere else only had hot soda 🤮-so I walked over and checked. Ice cold coke✔️. Kinda eyed the cupcakes but was like better not. Cashier was like they're so good you have to. I was like fine. Then he's like buy one get one 50% off and as much as I wanted to, I declined. But omg I wish I hadn't! The frosting was not too sweet...light and fluffy. Cake was perfect. Highly encourage everyone to walk a few feet past Starbucks and check this spot out. You will not...

Had to catch a flight at 10 AM on a Sunday, and on my way to the gate, stopped by Vanilla Bake Shop at the new Terminal B at LAX. The Chocolate Croissant I ordered was not fresh, it was a left over from the previous day, stale. The thing is that you get food to have on your flight and once you have a taste, it is too late to exchange or get a refund. I file a complaint with the operating company after I arrived home but so far, have not received a response other that one of those automatic replies. Does this place even serve cupcakes? I had a flight around 10 AM and felt hungry. The photos on this listing look amazing. But to my disappointment, there were no cupcakes when I went. They were restocking but it was not among the items. I'm not sure even they were technically open?
