Acquiring a private office through Regus has quickly become one of my most regretful business decisions to date.
Key issues:
Their ticketing system for support-related inquiries is strategically designed to bounce you around from one agent to another (like a ping-pong ball) until a few weeks go by and you either give up or find your own work-around.
They routinely fail to notify and properly accommodate tenants of construction that is occurring around their work centers. All tenants on the 5th floor of this location have had to use the 6th floor bathrooms for the past 3 months.
In the men’s room, there is only one functioning stall for 2 floors of workers. I just asked the building security if there was a different bathroom I could use, and they suggested I use the bathroom at Dave’s Hot Chicken down the road. Are you serious?
They advertise 24/7 accessibility, however what they don’t tell you, is that the air-conditioning is turned off in the after hours, limited on Saturdays, and completely off on Sundays. Thermostats are also shared by private offices, so if someone a few doors down wants to crank it to the highest heat setting, there’s nothing you can do.
Regus will consistently nickel-and-dime you for everything. They offer a (laughable) 1mbps dedicated internet connection for wait for it $150/mo. That’s not a typo. And if you want to bring in your own ISP, they charge you a monthly fee of $200 on top of monthly rack mount costs, and your ISP monthly costs. Want to reserve a meeting room? That’ll cost you per hour as well.
The private offices are poorly insulated - you’ll be able to hear every conversation happening in all of the suites around you at the same time. So much for a “private” office.
For all of the aforementioned amenities, be prepared to spend $100-200/sqft for your office space. (I’m currently paying $1500/mo for 88sqft). Obviously, I should have done more research before moving here, but hopefully you can learn from my awful experience of being here the past 3 months and stay away.
I still have 9 months left on my lease, but am already working with a broker to find better options for 2023 and beyond. I hate to leave such a negative review for any business, large or small. But Regus has left me no choice.
PS. If Regus’s / IWG’s PR team submits a public response to this review suggesting I submit a ticket in my online account or Regus app, you’ll witness first-hand exactly what I’m talking...
Read moreWe were Double Charged and NO ONE is willing to fix it. The General Manager of this area, Mason Manning, is untrustworthy and made me never trust Regus again. I signed up for the membership under my personal email address and then he signed me up under my corporate email address and sent a message on my behalf to the customer help desk to have my personal account refunded and cancelled since I only needed one account and he wanted to get credit for signing me up under my corporate email address. I received a response that my account was cancelled, but that I was not going to be refunded based on their policy. I requested numerous calls, I have tried calling Mason Manning back a thousand times, and I am being ignored. This has now been going on for over 4 months. I will never use Regus again and I will make sure that all of my colleagues know how they treat their members so they don't become...
Read moreI have been a tenant at the REGUS NoHo location since summer of 2015. The location is fantastic - close to Burbank, Studio City, Universal City, the 101, 134 & 170. The support staff is always with friendly and professional. The other clients, along with the staff, help me feel less isolated throughout the day, which is very beneficial, since I work alone. If you are looking for a great location, and a solid place for your business to setup shop, or to establish itself - I cannot recommend REGUS Lankershim Plaza in...
