Bruxie — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! The food and customer service are on point and fantastic!!!)

It's been a while since I moved back home from North Hollywood, I am thrilled to come back here with my girlfriend and visit this amazing food place. North Hollywood is their new open location, there is street parking or you can park at a near by supermarket and walk to the place within 15 minutes. I know I will go crazy for their food so I don't mind walking more to burn out some calories first lol.

As we arrived, we were AMAZED by their exciting and cozy indoor/outdoor decorations!!! Cant's recall how many times we said "WOW" before we began to order our food. We decided to try two of the most popular chicken waffles, two different sides, drinks and their homemade dipping sauce. All staffs are SUPER friendly, especially Adrain and Madison, they pay attention to what we need and answer all the questions we have regarding the food and the business.

The Original Chicken Waffle | $10.95 — it's served with original seasoned premium chicken breast, chili honey and cider slaw. The waffle is fluffy and slightly sweet, the chicken breast is so juicy and not dry, every bite is full of 100% flavors and excitement. It can be a little messy eating but it’s licking-fingers deliciousness anyways

Kickin "Nashville" Hot | $10.50 — with the same original seasoned chicken breast, added spicy & smoky, tangy sauce, shredded lettuce and pickles. The heat from the spices are dancing on my tongue but tolerable. Definitely a yummy kicking meal.

Spiced Tots $4.90 — Who doesn’t love a crunchy and crispy tots?! The shredded potato inside is moist and well seasoned. It’s a great satisfaction for sure.

Waffle Fries $4.90 — it’s not a regular waffle fries you have at any other restaurants!! They are so airy and crunchy at the same time. Very addicting and we literally couldn’t stop and finished in one setting.

Fresh Strawberry Shake | $5.95 — nothing too fancy about it but it sure is the best strawberry shake I’ve ever had. Instead of strawberry jam, they use the real fresh strawberry. Super creamy with natural taste!

Palmer $3.45 — their special drink with 1/2 lemonade + 1/2 iced tea. Much healthier because it’s not as sweet than the regular lemonade. Refreshing, especially after all the goodies with rich flavors.

Side note: Their sauce are pretty bomb too!! I like how the homemade ranch is not too salty as I expected; the chili honey goes really well with the chicken waffle and the honey mustard is my favorite for the fries and tots.

As someone who has always been a huge fan of Bruxie, I knew I had to visit the newly opened location at North Hollywood. You honestly cannot go wrong with any of their chicken waffle sandwiches, and trust me, the portions are so generous, which is definitely a huge plus for me. Upon arrival, someone will help take your order at the window. After ordering, you pick a table to sit at, and they will bring out the food to you by calling out your name. Our food came out within 5-7 minutes of ordering and I was so pleased that it was super fresh. If you’re relatively new to chicken and waffles, Bruxie is definitely a great place to start.

|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross streets are Lankershim Blvd. and Academy Way. -Street metered parking or free parking (if available) along Weddington St. Metered parking is $1/hr. Make sure to set an alarm to go back and reload the meter if you end up going over the time you paid for, because parking enforcement actually does their job here.

|| F O O D / D R I N K S || Holy Chicken Waffle Sandwich - This is a chicken waffle sandwich under their breakfast section. It comes with 2 slices of bacon, chicken, waffle, and a sunny side up egg. Something about the sweetness and savoriness of this sandwich just works and balances each other out. Definitely a great pick if you’re the type to crave breakfast/brunch foods.

NY Deli Style Hot Pastrami & Swiss - They really load up on the pastrami. What I like about it is that the pastrami is thinly sliced and isn’t overly salty. So delicious and savory!

Chicken Tenders and Waffle Fries - If you’re not feeling for a waffle sandwich, they have chicken tenders with fries option available. I believe they have options for 3pcs, 5pcs, and 10pcs. I went for the 3pcs which comes with 2 sauces. Their chicken tenders are super flavorful and honestly may not even need the dipping sauce. The waffle fries were perfectly crisp.

Blueberry Milkshake - ONLY AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED TIME! You will not see this on the main menu as it is a special item that is only available for the month of April. I’ve rarely seen blueberry as a flavor for a milkshake so I was very curious. I really liked how it wasn’t overly sweet and the blueberry taste was strong. Usually you need to add a lot of blueberries to get that amount of flavor, so it’s good to know that they don’t skimp on that.

Went to North Hollywood and decided to grab some brunch! Walked around and saw Bruxie. We walked over to check out their menu, and everyone agreed that this was definitely the spot we should go eat at!

We all ordered at the window, and decided to sit in the cool little diner area inside. Our shakes came out first, it was nice and thick, and delicious. I was tempted to try the Captain Crunch, but Cookies and Cream always has my heart. I tried a bit of my brother's Nutella shake, and it was also really good.

Our order came out shortly after and everything looked amazing. My husband got the Chicken and waffles which looked phenomenal. He added the bacon and eggs to top the waffle which made it look even more delicious. My brother and I shared the Holy Moly, which is a waffle breakfast sandwich and the tenders. The sandwich was a beast to tackle, but it had everything I needed for a quality breakfast. I liked the contrast of the sweet syrup and the savory chicken and egg. The tenders were very juicy and big, I also liked the house made sauces that came with the order. Plus the tater tots are super fun! Highly recommend ordering that along with your meal.

Left the place quite full, but very happy. It was a wonderful brunch experience, and I can't wait to eat some more of their delicious...
