Terrible customer service. What serious business owner would yell at a customer in front of several other customers? This guy did. Who likes to hear, "Get out of my store!!" multiple times? Not I. I doubt that the Luminox watch that I went in to get a battery replaced will be returned to me in the same condition that I left it in their care. Here's the story.
Took the watch in for a new battery. Jeweler (not sure that title is warranted) put in a new battery and set the time. Cashier noticed the second hand wasn't moving. Store was busy so the owner said he would troubleshoot the problem and get back to me. Two months later no return call so I called him. I was told my charge would be about $140 for a new quartz movement which he had already installed without approval. I was never asked if I wanted a new movement or any other repair. The owner says he replaced the movement, but who really knows. Of course every situation has 2 sides and I calmly listened to him explain his version. When I stated that I am 100% sure no one asked my approval to replace the quartz movement he basically called me a liar. That's when this man became loud and belligerent. He turned red in the face and screamed, "Get out of my store!!!" several times, frightening the two elderly ladies shopping at the time. Totally unprofessional. I was told that he would restore my watch to the condition it was in before he replaced the movement and return it to me no charge. I asked the employees where my "old" movement was and both the owner and his cashier were stumped. I really wanted to find a watch repair business close to home that I could trust. Frankly, I don't feel comfortable going back to Ron's Jewelers to pickup my Luminox Navy Seals watch. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis may be a long one so brace yourself, only because the experience was amazing and probably the best purchase I ever made. Started with a phone call to Rons Jewelers. And set up an appointment to come visit. So my wife and I were getting ready to celebrate our 20 year anniversary and I wanted to upgrade her ring. I did originally buy her ring at another jewelry shop but my father highly recommended Rons Jewelery. So me and my wife headed over.
My wife's number one thing was she wanted to keep her ring and possibly upgrade the diamond. Ashely who is the one who helped us had all the knowledge there is about diamonds. My wife was very emotional and not wanting to give up her ring. But Ashley mentioned that they can re create her current ring in order to upgrade the diamond to a much bigger size. We came back about a week later to the finish product. And wow it was beyond perfect. My wife was instantly in love with it.
Mark who is the owner and been doing it since his father Ron was creating Jewelery in his garage. Yes I got a lot of stories from Mark which I could not get enough of. We talked easily for like 2 plus hours on my time spent there. I cannot wait to go back and say hello and just talk to them. they are amazing people with great knowledge in jewelry. They never made me feel like it was a transaction. I felt like we were friends and they truly wanted the best ring for my wife. Which she got. She loves her ring.
So with that said. Go visit Rons Jewelers and pick something nice and custom for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a terrible experience. I arrived at the store and the doors were locked so I called. The person that answered the phone asked me what I wanted I told him that I need two rings resized and he explained to me that there are only two people allowed at a time and asked if I could wait until the two ladies in there at the time left. His tone was not very polite but I understood said okay and waited in my car. Once the two ladies and a young girl left, I went back to the front. Before I could ring, he said that I could not come in with my backpack, which is actually my purse and where I keep my money. As Iām trying to understand what is happening he repeats you canāt come in with that, leave it in your car. Meanwhile the white ladies that just left had some sort of backpack. I decided to leave. Although I understand certain security measures are in place the only difference I saw between myself and the people who left before me was that I am an dark skinned and male. My partner came here a few months prior to have a ring sized and the person who helped him kept asking him if his ring was real prior to sizing. He explained that it was and was asked if he was sure twice more. I didnāt think that was very polite. Again, Iām not sure why people skills and general kindness were lacking here, or if itās just darker skinned people that have this sort of experience. I am very...
