I'm the pickiest person when it comes to fashion. When it comes to fashion I normally walk out empty handed from shops, but not yesterday! My hubby and I drove from OC to Hollywood and it was well worth the trip. I'm a vintage lover of apparel as is my hubby so it was a Christmas trip for us both. We heard about this location from the wonderfully kind manager who we met at the OC location Swellegant in Newport Beach CA.
I love vintage 40's and 50's dresses as well as vintage cardigans and he said they had a wealth of those in my size at their LA location, and boy was he right! I walked out with two one of a kind dresses (circa the 40's and 50's) and a stunning 1940's brooch! The stock is like a time capsule of high quality items, and truly is a drool worthy well organized department store of vintage. The best part was they gave me space to let me shop to my hearts content! I hate going to other stores where the staff tries to sell me and hounds me (I have social anxiety). The staff was incredibly helpful when I needed help, and were especially warm and kind! A great experience! We...

I ask to see it and she tells me itās 80⦠she brings it down and the price tag is still there for 56. She instantly grabs it and tears off the tag and tells me the name of the artist but doesnāt let me see the price. I finally ask her for the price tag and she says the price tag was not her writingā¦it clearly was. I really liked this store but she was extremely sketchy with the whole process. Unfortunately I will no longer be coming back cause of this. If you see a good price be careful cause she...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStarday Vintage is a nice vintage clothing store in East Hollywood. They carry a huge selection of men's and women's clothing, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. Most of them are from the 1920ās to the 90ās. Also they carry vintage guitars. All these nice items are neatly organized in their 2000sq ft store; stuff can be found by era and size in a brightly lit spacious environment. I found a nice brown bomber jacket (see photo) that I dig a lot albeit out of my price range.
Price ranges from $5 to over $200 bucks. Atmosphere was relaxing. Staff was affable. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and I recommend this...
