Worst massage experience I've ever had, and I've had a couple hundred massages! I came here at about 2 PM on a Wednesday. There were two masseuses available; I just heard the voice of the second one. One of them giggled, and I heard the word "handsome" when I was using the restroom before the massage. I paid my masseuse $60 for 1 hour massage. Soon after my massage began, I heard another customer come in, which the second masseuse helped.
This is where it went south. A few minutes later, a third customer came in. My masseuse left to greet him, which I was fine with. I figured she would tell him they are busy and when he could come back. Unfortunately, that was not what she told him, and I was flabbergasted at what she said when she returned to the room.
She said I had two options; I could either reduce my massage time to 30 minutes and continue now, or I could wait 10 minutes and she would still finish the one hour massage we had already agreed to and I had already paid for. Keep in mind, she wasn't asking if I was OK with these options. She was expecting me to automatically be OK with it and forcing me to choose.
I told her point blank that was very disrespectful, and I didn't want either option. I wanted her to finish the one hour massage as agreed. I had to say this a few more times in different ways, and she still wasn't getting the message and kept insisting that I choose one of the options. Exasperated, I finally agreed to wait.
Not surprising for someone this disrespectful of a person's time, it was not 10 minutes, but 20 minutes when she finally returned to my room. She completed a mediocre massage and, at the end after I turned over, she made a suggestive tugging motion to which I shook my head and said no.
To add insult to this dumpster fire of a massage, she tried to rush me out of the room when it was over and insisted I tip her $30 or $40 instead of the $20 tip that I gave her. The AUDACITY! LOL 😆 I clearly shouldn't have even given her $20, because that was already more than she deserved. I told her she should be more respectful of her customers because basic respect is important, and she told me to leave and not come back.
I came here because of the name Sun Massage, as I'm a regular at a small chain of massage parlors in Koreatown and Hollywood with the same name. I always get a great massage at those parlors, and always tip a very generous $30 for a $60 one hour massage, and they all love me there. Unfortunately, this place here on Westwood is in no way affiliated and is just a grimey tug joint where you will be treated like expendable trash and then expected to tip extremely generously for it. There are way too many quality massage parlors in LA to tolerate treatment like this, so I highly recommend you...
Read moreThey don't understand massage. Then she gives a little massage and asks for money for extra treatment. When you say no, she says she just wants a massage. This time she acts coldly. She doesn't do a massage. She argues with the customer. Why, because the customer doesn't want extra, I definitely do not recommend it and I complain...
Read moreWhat a rip-off! The therapist kept on going in and out of the room and my one hour time was cut short! The first therapist quit after 20 minutes and I had to wait for another 5 minutes before another therapist came to the room. I only get about 45 minutes instead of 60 minutes! Be warned...
