2nd visit 04/04/23 The self-service associate looked at me several times while I was in line with the large trash can. When it was almost my turn, the self service cashier (approximately 6' tall, curly hair, and I believe wearing glasses) came towards my way and moved a small cart to the opposite direction. The cart was not offered to me. When I walked up to the self service register. Your self service associate intentionally walked from the self service area to a male associate in a other area at a register nearby They were observed cutting their eyes towards my direction acting as though they don't see me so while the self service cashier appears to be gossipping whe doing so Since my last experience at this Target was unfavorable, I thought I would give this location another try, but go through the self checkout instead I was hoping to come home relax and have a good experience at thisTarget to no avail And then your self-service cashier tried to tell me back and forth he didn't see me wrh thatarge trash can Please management look at the cameras and you can see what and how your self-service cashier treated me and ignored me and even got another cashier to join him. And then while I'm talking to the self-service cashier asking for his assistant, the other cashier comes over like he coming to protect the sales associate from a midde age African American woman who just came into your store for that great experience you advertise about The cashier on March 27th 2023 at 6:29 p.m. a meaningless, unsatisfactory customer service experience. He gave me the receipt with his head turned away from me talking to his associate. I was not thanked, I was not given direct eye contact, and it felt as though my patronage, at 11840 W Santa Monica, Target, was not appreciated nor needed.

This is my neighborhood Target, but I don’t go there too often. It’s a smaller location, so they don’t carry everything a regular Target would have. There are usually quite a few homeless people outside, which can make the entrance feel a little uncomfortable. Parking is convenient — there’s a garage right below the store with free parking for one hour, and you don’t need a ticket or validation. There’s both an escalator and an elevator to get up and down. Inside, there’s a Starbucks, which is a nice touch if you want to grab a coffee or a snack. One thing I didn’t like is that the elevator to the parking lot is outside the store. I had heavy items, so I had to use it, but as soon as I walked out, my cart locked. I had to leave my things there and go back inside to find someone to unlock it. There’s a security booth at the door, and I think that’s supposed to be covered for situations like this, but nobody was there at the time. Overall, it’s a fine Target if you need something quick, but definitely not my favorite location.

I went to the shop at 9:45 PM on Sunday. The security guard started chasing me, telling me to leave the store because it was 9:55 PM. I bought my last item and went to the cashier (a very kind young boy). The employee started checking me out, but when I went to pay, an employee named MIYA told the cashier not to go through with my purchase because it was 10 PM and the store was closing. She was pretty rude. She treated me like a dog, kicking me out of the store, asking me to leave right away, and didn't let the cashier process my purchases. How does Target hire someone like that? I felt very discriminated against by this woman, MIYA, and I will file a report against her. I will never come back to this Target again. I recorded everything, and she also treated the cashier rudely when she didn't authorize him to process my purchases. It was the worst experience I've ever had in a store.

I had the worse experience ever at this Target. I had some pretty bad experiences but this one tops the rest where I will never step foot in another Target. Luis who says he is the manager. I walked up to him at customer service and said I am inquiring if I can use coupons at self checkout he said no at first that Target does not accept coupons. Then stopped and said yes but your only allowed to use one coupon per day. I asked him where is that in the store policy or website that is the case. He requested to see the coupon then proceeded to read to me what the coupon says and then said I am trying to commit fraud by using more than one coupon, even on the coupon it says your allowed to use 2 like coupons per day. At that point I am embarrassed and everyone is looking as though I am attempting to commit a crime which I was not. Since he brought unnecessary attention to me. I humbled myself, kept quiet all while crying because I am a black woman in this store and I was afraid of being perceived as being a threat and having the police called on me and losing my life at the hands of the police over coupons worth $6 that Target would be reimbursed back from. I called Target coporate while in the store and when I looked up finally I realized that security was standing around me watching me unnecessary. I was confused and further embarrassed because I poised no threat or risk to anyone in the store. I stopped at the store getting off from work. I was dressed in business attire and had on a work badge. The only thing that stood out was my color. This employee Luis refused to allow me to speak to his supervisor as he says he is the store manager. In addition he told me he has no district manager for me to speak too and refused to provide that information as I requested which resulted in my standing to the side away from everyone to call coporate. I was humiliated and embarrassed unnecessary from Luis and security staff. Target need to retrain their employees in sensitivity training before one day they get a major lawsuit on...

The staff destroyed my mood for the whole day. I visited store this morning at 8:30 AM. I wanted to try the blouse, but all fitting rooms were closed. I had just one hour before my work and asked the associate to open the fitting room. I took them 20 minutes, I was waiting. Finally, when they opened it, I told to the associate that how strange that store is opened since 7 am, but fitting rooms are locked. She started telling me something, but I didn't really need her explanation, I just told her that this is wrong, it shouldn't be like that, she kept telling me something, but I barely had time to try the blouse, so I closed the door and tried quickly the blouse, barely had time to do that. When I went out of the fitting room one of the associates told me raising her voice: "Madam, don't you ever do this anymore!" She almost scared me... I asked her what did she mean. She replied that I slammed the door in front of one of associate. Wow!!! Instead of apologies that they could not open the fitting room for 20 minutes, they decided to blame me! And they all were very young women, my children age, not even respect, not any professionalism, big...
