Super clean, great energy, good vibes and the best home away from home. If my personal schedule allowed me to come twice a day I would! The Hit classes are fun and challenging at the same time. The music is always on point and the led lights are a whole mood. Coach Hoop is beyond amazing and is very passionate about what he does! He really puts his all into making sure whoever comes into the studio gets exactly what they are looking for. He definitely pays close attention to everyone individually during workouts and helps you out when needed with no hesitations. Coach Hoop will absolutely take you to the max so you can reach your fitness goals! Coach Kelly is super stunning!! Hands down the best accountability coach out there. Read moreI really enjoyed The Athletic Body! I saw a posting about it on Instagram and reached out for more info. I spoke with Coach Kelly. I must say she’s absolutely great! She’s been so kind and patient with me, as I had to start later than I wanted to due to finance. Kelly told me she would check back in with me at a later date and she did. She invited me out try a class and see how I like it. The class was amazing! As someone who has physical limitations, I was able to move at my pace. The coach that taught that class immediately came over to greet me and check in about my limitations. Everyone in the class was welcoming and kind. I did not feel judged for having to move slower than others. To top it off, the workout was intense, but I felt amazing afterwards and I definitely still felt it the next day. Kelly also took time to talk with me about my goals and options for changing my diet. I’m very excited to continue with this fitness group. Read more7/16 This is a follow up review to the one below. I’ve now been attending classes about 2-3 x week consistently for the last 3 months. This is by far the best studio I’ve been to in LA and I’ve been to a lot. Coach Hoop is awesome, knowledgeable & wants you to succeed. He really makes an effort to adapt any exercise if you’re injured. This place is results driven, meaning you progress in a safe, injury free way. Coach Kelly is always there to greet you with an effective & much needed warm up! Highly recommend for anyone looking for more functional training in a community like setting.
I took the Sunday 9AM class with Coach Hoops. It was both challenging AND effective. I find a lot of group fitness classes to be focused on “how hard you can work” without actually showing people how to do the moves properly or poorly combined circuits. I felt I got a full body workout where I left feeling good! I was given modifications as needed given I’m just coming back from an injury. We were also given the appropriate amount of time to warm up AND cool down (which I will argue are just as important as the workout itself). I will be back to check out what another...
