I was literally charged without my consent after explaining I needed to shift my appointment due to an emergency appointment with my surgeon.

This is the worst, most unpleasant overall experience I’ve had with a “medical” provider in LA. I’ve called multiple times and no one knows what is going on. It’s like “who’s on first.”

One star. If I could, I’d give zero.

6/19/24 1pm I’ve given this a shot. It’s really expensive and not the most pleasant experience. Being locked in a tube for 90 minutes is one thing — at times I’ve felt what I can only describe as “needles” on my skin. Apparently this is a reaction to oils (?) which can combust in the locked chamber. That entire idea is unsettling.

Very unsettling.

I tried this after a fat grafting hoping to greatly reduce the recovery period. To be honest — I don’t think it made a difference.

At all. None.

After two weeks, an employee commented that I’m moving around a lot better in his opinion, which is true. But I had the exact same operation last year without HBOT and was literally in the same place at the same 2 week post-operative place.

I just went in yesterday and asked when I would see noticeable results. Angie and Frank — both incredibly nice— explained it’s a “the more frequently you do it the more you see results” kind of thing.

I was strongly considering going for the 10 pack (roughly $6k) after speaking with Angie.

To this point, I’ve found some staff — Kacey, Frank, Angie, Nicole — to be very pleasant. Others have been far more challenging (see below).

I had my surgeon change plans on me today and due to being across town and in my Dr’s office, I cancelled an appointment I simply couldn’t get to on time. I was told I was going to be charged a $550. I called this morning to warn that I was going to be at my Dr’s and that I’d try to get there by 3pm, of course dependent upon my Dr’s schedule and traffic. No mention of a 24-hr cancellation policy or potential charge.

Honestly, the person on the phone I just spoke with was combative and unpleasant.

All and all, I don’t see the benefit and though I was really hoping to report differently, I ultimately side with my surgeon and see this as a complete waste of money and time. Take your chances and see if you encounter a pleasant employee. It’s a crab shoot. Good luck to you! If you have thousands of dollars to waste, it could be the right option for you. Three stars for the accommodating employees.

UPDATE FROM ORIGINAL POST… Apparently I originally spoke to a new employee who was not familiar with the process. Co-owner Nicole just reached out personally to explain all about the benefits and risks of using the chamber. She took a ton of time to answer my questions. She was able to do the consult and approve me for treatments!!

I’m so excited to have this opportunity and I feel 100% confident this will truncate my healing time, help heal my body and get me the absolute best results from surgery.

Really disappointed. I had a lengthy discussion with intake, provided all of my information & never heard back. I followed up after a long weekend & I was told there was no way to schedule an initial consult before my surgery. I already submitted to insurance, as I was told prior.

Now I’m left looking for other options less than a week...
