Botched procedure performed without informed consent:
I came here for a series of 3 Morpheus treatments, the first two were performed without incident. The third and final one, Larissa decided without informing me, that she was going to give me a nerve block before the treatment. Iāll go into detail below, but I talked to a doctor after and he said that whatever she did it shouldnāt have been that painful and it should not have been preformed without informing me or getting my consent. It took almost 3 weeks for the pain to go away. In the photos you can clearly see the difference in swelling, I urge you to use caution if going to see her so you donāt end up in extreme and prolonged pain like I did. The photo shows the swelling from the botched nerve block vs how my face looked after my second treatment. You can see extreme swelling, when I showed my mom she told me to go to the ER.
When Larissa decided to numb me with a nerve block, it was the most excruciating pain Iāve ever experienced. I actually had a panic attack on the table because I wasnāt expecting that amount of pain or for my face to be paralyzed. The numbing from my first two Morpheus treatments stung a little bit and did not cause paralysis, so understandably when I felt the needle go into my nerve and my face stop moving I thought something was horribly wrong. My face swelled in a terrifying manner after the treatment and I was in bed for 2 days, unable to get up because of the amount of pain my face was in. It took almost 3 weeks for the pain to completely leave my face from the nerve block. Since then, my understanding is that Larissa did not inject correctly, and it should not have been that painful. Actually, legally, I should not have been put in that position to begin with because Larissa never even asked or informed me she was going to give me a nerve block. She just decided to do it on her own. It has been about 5 weeks and I find myself with extreme anxiety now when in medical and cosmetic environments, which I never had before. Iām worried that Iām going to be emotionally scared for life from this botched procedure. Iām thankful that the physical pain was temporary (in terms of weeks instead of lifelong).
Seriously, not ok. Iāve sent the pictures and my complaint to Volure and did not receive any explanation or apology.
All that being said, Iām really disappointed this happened because I had really great results from my Morpheus treatments. However, I donāt feel safe doing back here after what happened. Also, she was routinely late. They have you show up an hour early to numb but I found myself waiting an additional hour until the treatment was performed, so I was there 2.5-3...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHi, I just had my second treatment of morpheus8. I canāt tell you how fabulous Volure is. Larissa is a professional, sheās personable and is highly skilled. She was recommended to me by a friend who has been seeing Larissa for many years. Said she wouldnāt trust anybody else but Larissa with her face. When I first met Larissa, I liked her right away. She was very confident. And she told me what treatments she would recommend doing. I went for an IPL that same day. 1st time ever. She suggested 2 Morpheus8 treatments w/PRP and follow it up with 3 Sculptraās. Both treatments work overtime by stimulating your own collagen. With Morpheus8 thereās was no pain. Afterwards, youāre very red. Feels like a bad sunburn looks like one too but if youāre doing PRP the redness and swelling goes down in a few hours. The next day youāre fine. Thereās no downtime. (Good news is when youāre swollen you donāt see the lines;) After two treatments of Morpheus8 my treatment plan also includes 3 rounds of Sculptra. Iām looking forward to getting Sculptra although it looks pretty intense. So far, Iāve had an IPL and 2 Morpheus8. All of the treatments Iāve had so far thereās been no pain. Itās day 3 of the Morpheus8 but Iām very itchy this time. Instead of the PRP, I had exosomes. I personally think I prefer using my own blood but will see if thereās any difference between the two. I canāt say enough fabulous things about Volure, Larissa, Melissa and Olivia! Theyāre a great crew. So come on down down and check it out. You wonāt be sorry. They give free consultations too which is practically unheard of these days so you have nothing to lose. So far, Iām one Happy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI been going for my leg veins and decided to try some thing for my face. I wanted to get rid of the Jowls and Extra skin under my chin. (Not my neck.) I Went with what was suggested. Morpheus It was thousands of dollars and very painful. Iām going to show you the before and after pictures you decide please note we are not looking at the actual neck. What most concerns me as I had expressed dissatisfied results. I did not get any phone call back. When I came back months later, the staff seem to delay getting the after pictures ready for Larissa to see. I went and had my legs done, Giving them time to prepare the before, and after. My appointment lasted over an hour. When I came out the after pictures still were not ready they rushed to get them for Larrise to look at after I insisted to see them, quickly and I mean quickly she looked at them. I asked her if she saw an improvement. She shook her head yes. I told her that I did not. She just walked away. She did Not point out where she may have seen an improvement. Afterwards I requested the photos be sent to my email. It took two months to get them and several Requests. This procedure is extremely painful and costly. I did not ever request my money back, but I did expect Larrise to care about my dissatisfaction. No response. Look at the pictures is it worth $2000 and lots of pain? Supposedly it only last a year. Though she has mostly good reviews when you read the ones that are not, it seems to be the same, nobody seems to care...
