Acai Republic — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I went to this location as a first-time customer while my daughter and I were in the area. The service was terrible, and to top it off, the man working there that day, who was by himself, lied in his response to my daughter’s review. We tried to order from the man behind the counter, but he directed us to the self-service kiosk. I didn’t want honey on my bowl and didn’t realize that I hadn’t removed it. Once I noticed this, we attempted to get his attention, but as stated before, he was working alone and didn’t have time to actually provide customer service. I repeatedly tried to explain to him that I didn’t mean to get honey, but he kept saying it wasn’t his mistake, even though I hadn’t blamed him. Someone must have obviously beaten him down pretty badly for him to be so argumentative and defensive about honey on a bowl. I never once asked for the bowl to be remade; I asked for my money back because he was very obviously overwhelmed, and I didn’t want to wait even longer. He acted as though he couldn’t understand anything we were saying but kept repeating that it wasn’t his fault. After going back and forth about absolutely nothing, he finally refunded my money. His mother must have hated him because he obviously loves to argue with women. He should be out of business, and if that’s not his business, at the very least, he shouldn’t have a job. What a weirdo.

Absolutely the BEST açaí in Los Angeles — hands down! The flavor, texture, and toppings are just perfect. They also serve amazing coxinha and pão de queijo, both super fresh and authentic. You can grab an ice-cold Guaraná Antarctica too, which is such a nostalgic treat if you’re from Brazil.

What makes it even better? It’s just minutes from Beverly Hills, close to major tourist spots, and literally next door to the Brazilian Consulate. So whether you’re visiting the consulate or just exploring the area, this place is a must-stop.

Amazing place to not only try the Açaí but also the other itens they have. First, the Açaí is really good, not too sweet, perfect combination with fruits, and very creamy. I’m Brazilian and I can assure you’re not going to regret to order with them. The customer service was beyond amazing. The guy that took care of me, he was so nice, fast and caring.
