Excellent, compassionate doctor with real results for acne scarring. I am Asian and no derm ever wanted to do CO2 on my skin- they would recommend other, less effective lasers. I did the trifecta treatment with Mixto CO2 laser, subcision and Bellafill- taking about three hours from start to finish. First of all, I loved the process- no one is rushing you out of there. I had treatment and then was able to rest in the recovery room with some hot tea and cookies. After a week of scabbing my face looked really good- but I wanted to wait a few months to see because in my experience, acne treatments always look good at first since your face is slightly swollen and appears smoother at first. It’s now been a few months and somewhere in the last month everything started gelling. I don’t know what it is, maybe everything settling, but my skin looks so good and the scars are so much better. I had rolling and boxcar scars and they are pretty much smoothed out! Dr was also very skilled at Bellafill, it looks very natural. Starting from first day of recovery, he was immediately available on texts and requested many FaceTimes. This is a doctor who really cares, you can tell by his actions, he’s committed to his craft and helping people. His nurse is hilarious and his front staff is so nice and supportive. I am a middle aged male with olive skin. Unfortunately when I was younger I spent a lot of time under the sun. So I have some sun damage due to this.

I went saw Dr. Rahimi for some tiny spider veins I had on my cheeks and nose area. Very clean office, professional staff, and state of the art equipment. Dr. Rahimi has such a great aura around him. He is friendly, smart, explains everything perfectly. I felt so comfortable.

He suggested an IPL procedure to take care of those nasty little red veins. He sprayed some cold stuff on my cheeks and nose and started zapping away. He was using this tool shaped like a pen to pulverize these little veins. It did not really hurt at all. If you can handle a dental cleaning you can handle this. Plus this only lasts 2-3 minutes. So it goes by fast.

My face was a tiny bit red for two days but the third day it looked fabulous. 80% of thise little spider vein crittters were gone. Another one or two more sessions and I think they will all be gone.

I usually don't write reviews as I see them as a hassle, but I decided to write one for Dr. Rahimi as I just returned for my 2nd session of laser with Dr. Rahimi for my upper eyelid scar due to repeated ptosis surgeries with external approach, and I was very happy with the improvements resulted from the first session. The second session was a little stronger, so I am hoping that the improvement will be even greater! My goal is to completely remove the scars or at least make them nearly invisible (to the point where people cannot tell it's a scar even if they look at it very carefully close up). So I am hoping that either this or the next session will give me the results I want. Regardless, the first session was a great success and I am so glad that I went with Dr. Rahimi for this scar issue that I've been having for so many years.
