After having a very negative experience at a different nearby dispensary I told the staff that I would never return as they operate in a town with multiple dispensaries all offering relatively the same product located roughly the same distance from one and other.
Later that week I found The Dab on the edge of Louisville & Lafayette and I found myself feeling guilty for saying that the other dispensaries in town would be on par with the unnamed "rude" dispensary. The Dab is head and shoulder above that lame alphabet soup named place.
All my needs and more have been met. The staff is excellent at reading and either giving me mild interaction or the bare minimum interaction. This is a God send for someone that doesn't like interacting e.g. me.
Occasionally magnificent beasts with sizes ranging from the humble pug to the shameless doberman are spotted within these walls. One very small nitpick complaint is that owners are often times literally on another planet and this do not control their beasts.
That said there are two exit flow doors and a wide clearance in the POS area and therefore if asked to tango away from an interaction there is enough room for even the most timid of dancers.
Also locals discounts on top of prices that would make a college aged version of myself be like dang I wish I lived THERE....
Read moreedit: no it was this location. I used maps to get to it and i used the location marker i was at to write the review. I'll stay going to social right down the road and honestly you should too.
Went in to get an ounce of popcorn and they offered a "prepackaged ounce" instead of weighing out an ounce in front of me. First off $75+ is way overpriced for popcorn. Secondly, it asked me for a tip despite the employee not actually doing anything but ringing me out. And thirdly they shorted me two grams because there was a silicone packet in there for "freshness" (which I have never seen before anywhere else what a waste of money. no wonder you're charging so much). Weighing just the flower was only 26 grams on my freshly calibrated kitchen scale, weighing it with the packet was 28 grams which means they charged me for packaging. I guess that could have happened if it was in that dram so long it dried out more. Lastly, the drams they use here are way overengineered, hard to open, and a wasteful amount of plastic. I'll be going to one of the other dispensaries in the...
Read moreI'm pretty much a weed novice--I usually get CBD gummies for my back and sleep--but I decided to go big and get some dank for me and a few friends to celebrate the end of mask mandate. The Dab is a killer store--great selection, huge variety, zero pressure. Ambiance is chill, and the location is perfect. Thank god that the dude behind the counter knew his green ("gots to know your product to sell your product"--his words, not mine)! I overheard him chatting up a customer a few spots in front of me, and it was clear that he wasn't some stoner from the Haight. He directed me to the EXACT buzz we were looking for. If anything, he started to dive a little too deep about the terpenes and cannabinoids and Mike Tyson and tigers, but he was spot-on! Frickin' hilarious! Schuyler's the...
