My wife is having pretty serious abdominal surgery tomorrow and over the weekend we thought it would be better to rent a lift-recliner to help the first three weeks go a little easier for her. I did some research and decided to call Independently Yours in Louisville. Bill, the owner, answered the phone and I could immediately tell by his accent that he was a fellow New Yorker. I explained my situation and asked if he could possibly get a chair here today with the snow coming. He placed me on a brief hold and came back to say no problem. This was a huge weight off my shoulders. He then transferred me to Charity who took all my information down and explained that if we needed the chair a little longer to just call them back. The whole process took less than ten minutes. Bill told me that it would be there around 130PM and I said I had a meeting at 1PM and that I would be close enough to make it work. He then called me back within ten minutes and said that they were going to be there closer to 230PM. I can't begin to thank them for how fast, professional and kind this whole experience has been. It's not often that I experience this high a level of customer service and they made it seem so incredibly easy. Bill and Charity were both genuine in their attempt to make life a little easier and I will never forget that. Jordan made things seemless and easy. I had to rent an O2 condenser for an O2 cage for my little Pug, who had been in the emergency vet for 48 hours already. We wanted to bring her home and the only way we could do that was with an O2 condenser and a special O2 cage for dogs. I was stressed and emotionally drained. Jordan was our hero that day and made the O2 condenser happen for us. The girls who took my phone calls prior to arrival were patient, kind, and gave me clear directions. (We needed to have a prescription written from the vet.) Jordan had me in and out of the store within 10 minutes and insisted I relax in one of the recliners while he set everything up. So kind. I can’t say enough about how well I was treated at the Parker location. I was having serious problems with a particular portable oxygen concentrator product meant for my 94 yo mom. After dealing with the manufacturer (several times) the manager Tayah Reed came to my rescue and replaced the unit with a different brand. Her effort was above and beyond what I originally expected. So far absolutely no problems with the new brand unit and I haven’t had to make anymore trips to the store with complaints. Thanks Tayah - now I can spend my time with mom , not driving back and forth to the store to deal with substandard equipment. From what I understand they no long stock the above mentioned product. Thanks for sticking up for us and getting her into equipment that she can use to make her more active and able to get around better.
