The Argentos Empanadas — Restaurant in Louisville

Great little place! Delicious food. Staff are friendly and answer all questions. Wide variety of generously-stuffed empanadas and sauces, including vegetarian. Fantastic value, just $5 for something big enough for lunch. Cute atmosphere inside and out.

No inside seating! Take to go, or enjoy on the shaded picnic tables. Outside should be fairly wheelchair accessible, there is some transversing grass/dirt.

No mountain views, but is in a nice little wooded spot.

The sidewalk to get here is pretty broken up and/or narrow (not the fault of the restaurant), so it could be a challenge for mobility-limited or wheelchair folks. The previous tenants allowed guests to use the bathroom, not sure if that's still true or if they've changed it, but the bathroom was not very wheelchair accessible. Right next to the Dash bus stop.

We've been twice so far and look forward to getting desserts next time! So happy to have this...

This place has a variety of empanadas already cooked and ready for a quick take-out snack, which I liked. The crust was nice and bready, not too fatty and flaky like other empanadas that I've had. However I think the fillings are too salty, and the other aspects of seasoning just don't taste right to me. I tried chorizo, spicy ground beef, and steak and they were all similarly seasoned. UPDATE: I actually like strong flavors and seasonings, and don't need to go to something bland as the owner suggested below. Argentos Empanadas deserves every one of its five stars! I recently tried their veggie empanada, and it was an absolute delight.
