UPDATE: I was able to speak with somebody else on Saturday and he was VERY helpful. I also learned that I provided a wrong number in my phone number in the online order, so that is why they couldn't reach me. My only complaint at this point then would be the rude service I received from the man I called and spoke to twice on Friday night.
I know my son is relieved that we will be able to order from Blackjack - he loves this pizza!
I'd give 0 stars if I could. We just moved and have been Blackjack customers for YEARS with extreme pleasure in service, quickness and quality of pizza. Until last night. I placed the order online at 8:24pm and received an email saying 30-35min wait. Cool, no problem! By 9:24 there was no pizza so I called the store. The guy that answered the phone could care less that it had been an hour and just kept saying "all I can see is that it's out for delivery", when I responded "okay" for the third time, he just hung up the phone. It's now 9:45pm and nothing, so I call again. He has me wait while he looks into and then says that they tried to deliver but couldn't find the place so they left. NO PHONE CALL?!?! I said "were you going to tell me that I wasn't getting my food?!" He said they called but nobody answered, I never received a call. He then told me he'd send the driver out again after he got back to which I replied, I'm not eating Hour and half old pizza, you can make me new pizza and deliver that. He said he'd have to check with the driver when he got back and he'd call me back. Well it's Saturday morning and I never got a call back. We eventually ordered from Buca de Beppo and received our food within 40 minutes time, no issue. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with whomever I was on the phone with last night - worst Customer Service EVER! Read moreOrdered from this location a handful of times. About two weeks ago, the pizza was delivered almost an hour later than what their automated online ordering email claimed, but it we ordered early enough in the afternoon to where it was no big deal for it to arrive late.
Tonight, I ordered one (1) pizza, some cinnamon bread, and a garden salad at 8:08pm with an "Estimated Web-Delivery Time" of thirty-five (35) minutes (so, should be at my door around 8:43pm). I eventually got an email at 9:03pm saying the driver left to deliver the pizza. I waited until 9:39pm before I decided to call to get some answers. The person who answered the phone said that they only had one driver and could not give me an ETA on delivery. I asked them to just cancel my order, which he said he would do. I finally got a call from the driver about five (5) minutes later asking me for some help to find where I was located, but I informed him that I just cancelled my order and apologized for the inconvenience (honestly surprised that the store did not call the driver to let him know). Ended up getting food elsewhere.
My issues with the situation: waited over one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes for no pizza to arrive only had one driver on a Saturday night this location is about an eight (8) minute drive away from my place, so it should not have taken driver almost forty (40) minutes to get to here at no point during this process was I called to be informed of the possible lateness of the delivery - would have made me much more patient and understanding

Read moreWhen ordering delivery from the app, two locations are listed as possible for my address. I have ordered from this location before without issue. Today however, I placed a rather lengthy order this afternoon. I got a phone call from this location about 10 mins after I placed my order telling me I needed to call the other location to place a new order. When I explained that I had ordered from this location before and that the option I wanted was not available at the other location I got put on hold and then was told that I was out of their delivery zone. Both locations I have ordered from are not new, so this is a new policy. The locations are 2 miles and 3 miles respectively from my house - not the largest inconvenience to deliver and then let me know that it wouldn’t be possible in the future. I also did not appreciate the tone of the person calling me and then acting like I had inconvenienced them by giving them my business ... I asked if they could please remove the option to order at their location from the app as it makes this confusing, but I got some line about this being out their control and it’s a corporate issue, blah blah blah - pretty sure the store manager can call and request/provide customer feedback to corporate. I then had to ask about my refund as that info was not volunteered. Case in point: you don’t have to do what I consider to be the right thing, but you can be kind and at least ACT like you care, or act like what I am asking matters.
