My wife and I stopped in a couple of weeks ago to check out some e bikes while we were in Ludington. We’ve been researching for some time and met Kyle who helped us on our purchase of a couple of Magnum bikes. Which are fantastic by the way. Kyle was very knowledgeable on our selections and made it very easy for us to feel comfortable on these bikes. If you are looking for a place that has nearly everything you could ask for in biking, Trailhead with Kyle and Lynette is the only place you need to visit. Not to mention they accommodated us when they were close to closing and to top it off, Kyle had the bikes ready for us by coming in on his day off to make sure we were all set to ride that Sunday. These are great people who are a family owned business who provide a stellar buying experience . Thank you guys again!!!!! Mike + Lisa Update 07/2025* Once again, Kyle and Trailhead Bike comes through! stopped in to check on a cosmetic piece for my Metro S and in the process talked to Kyle about a trade in due to knee surgery 2yrs ago. I was not able to ride my Metro much due to my issue and the bike being a bit higher to step into. In speaking with Kyle about a new bike I spied the Magnum Bliss and immediately knew this was my bike. Kyle set me up with a fair trade for the Metro and I was riding the Bliss in a day or so. You absolutely cannot go wrong with the service and attention that they give. I truly cannot recommend a better bike shop and Kyle and Trailhead bike Shop will always have our...
Read moreWe were staying in Onekama for a long weekend, doing daily rides on our mountain bike hybrids around the area, when both of my pedals started to strip, one falling out completely. First, we were lucky that 23 miles from home, sporting 1 working pedal, a nice former auto worker tossed our bikes in his pickup and drove us all the way to our Inn and our car. Thanks Kirk! Our second luck was finding Jeff and Trailhead bikes only an hour away in Ludington. They had my sprocket, cranks and pedals in stock, took me right into the shop around 4:30, and had me out and ready to roll by 5. Super nice, quality bikes and equipment,...
Read moreBrought my bike to Luddington State Park and the wheel bearing got messed up on the trip down. Took my bike in and they took about 15 minutes to disassemble and adjust the entire rear wheel assembly. Putting it back on they adjusted the rear derailleur, it now shifts better then it's ever shifted and the wheel doesn't feel like it's going to fall off. All for $35. I would definitely suggest going if you have any problems with your bike.
I didn't shop for new accessories but they had a lot of options. I saw some extra sprockets, gears, and wheels, so they can probably quickly fix any types of problems you could have while...
