It doesn't matter if you submit a complaint, or be vocal as an advocate for their shoppers. Not asking for much. I've written the corporate office, I've it in , I advised the cashier, the shift manager. And they just seem to know, but don't care. And brush me off at the store as , "We'll see what we can do ?" And up to date, nothing has been done. My advice, was to make their express lane bi-lingual, reading that " ONLY 15 ITEMS OR LESS ". Because, not only I, but I've noticed their shoppers that follow and respect what the sign reads. But yet you'll see some shoppers. That disregard the sign. And just start unloading their basket full of groceries onto the conveyor belt counter. With NO remorse, Much less respect for other compliant shoppers. Either, they can't read, because the sign is only in English. Or think they can get away with it. And I've seen how people reacted to that. And have overheard some comments made. But since the shoppers don't understand English , it just goes over their heads. And the customer remains agitated. Same thing, out in the reserved Handicap parking spaces. People just park their because it's an open space, and it closest to the door entrance. It needs to be written in Spanish letters, so people can read it , and understand. Let's face we have many new faces. That just need a little bit of guidance. That's All. I am just tired of seeing this happen time and time again. When I go shopping. "Nuff said ! " Hopefully, now they'll understand. Now that I've made it a public notice. And I'm more than sure , it's not only happening here.
In reference to your reply , I've already done that, and/plus sent I'm going a written request. To NO Avail ! This problem didn't just arise yesterday nor today. I've advised a gentleman, with dyed hair I believe he is a front end manager once, twice first time he brushed me off saying he'd advise his manager. Then the second time he advise me to call corporate. So, after this public notice. I can't take it any further than this. So, I'm done complaining.
6/12/2023 Good afternoon, I went in this morning at about 6:15 for a few items, did my walking thru different departments. And the only smiling face that I saw Miranda in the Produce department. Of all the employees working this morning, Miranda was the only one that knowledged me with a friendly smile and said " Good morning ! " Other ppl in there working looked stressed, and I saw one young lady that seem as if she had a rough weekend. And / or didn't get any sleep, or woke up late. Her hair was all messed up, dressed in gray sweats, she was not a Happy camper at work. She was working pulling grocery orders. Other departments were getting ready for the day. Grocery stockers were really busy finishing up. Doing their jobs. The bakery Dept. The crew was looking busy, stocking. I noticed the meat mkt. Dept. Early morning stockers, were brainstorming in their dept. I was impressed by their hard work being done , but as a past HEB Store employee myself, I know for a fact, how important it was to acknowledge your customers with a Smile đ and making them feel welcomed. Or addressing them with a Good morning comment etc... Unless the company has lowered it's customer service standards ? Which I highly doubt. I now know, that going there in the opening hr. Is not a good idea. I know for a fact there was hardly any customers there. Especially when you walk up to the front end, to check out and there's nobody checking out , no people in line to check out. I made it a point to get that friendly produce dept. Worker's name, and let her rest assured, that I only needed it for nothing on my early morning store visit. Kudos to her ! Keep up the Great job ! It made me feel welcomed , instead of like , " what are you doing here ? " Come on H.E.B. pardners ! They need to realize that just because it's the only grocery store in the area, doesn't mean they have to lower their customer service standards. I was completely...
Read moreToday's experience at HEB was disappointing but nevertheless an experience. I never complain about HEB, however today, I drove to Devine. I live in San Antonio and thought I'd stopped in quickly at the HEB gas station just off 35 in Lytle, to get quick gift card. Thinking that HEB ( since it's the same company gas station) would have HEB gift cards conveniently available at the gas station, so I do not have to go into the store.... ooohhh no, marketing Geniuses got greedy, they should have some gift cards here, since it's convenient for the people on the go and since it's an HEB gift card they will come back and spend the profits again here at HEB. Geesh, Marketing 101, should have taught if anything!!!! please the CUSTOMERS and convenience sells people, especially now a days ...... However, no,no, no CONVENIENCE today Mathew my cashier help me look for H-E-B gift cards ( not any) and so I had to settle for a Visa MasterCard to purchase for someone ??? Uhg, I got stuck paying the one-time activation fee almost 5 dollars ...... not good at HEB ... tisk, tisk, tisk....... get your marketing people to get some gift cards and conveniently-placed some HEB gift card at the gas station ... I know marketing Geniuses think, hhhmm well we shoppers, all of them in the store and they will spend more money... but sometimes it's about convenience and then people will come back and spend more money and time. Bottom line is, ALWAYS MAKE IT EASIER FOR THE CUSTOMERS. LOVE YA, but today CASHIER MATHEW SAVED THE DAY, GREAT SMILE AND ATTITUDE. VERY HELPFUL, Matthew even looked around for gift cards for me and we both came up with the VISA one. However, his efforts were not unnoticed and again he was honest enough to tell me about the one time activation fee which I thought was honest and wonderful you saved the day Matthew..... I will return to...
Read moreAt this location you should look over your Spoiled Dates and Produce. Specially, in the tomato containers.and bags.
Iâve taken notice pre cut old fruit being mixed into fresh fruit containers to sell. (Not cool ) thatâs a sad Walmart standard.
As a suggestion âManagementâ needs to train or retrain the employees! I love H-E-Bâs but this location needs to step it up. If it wasnât for the LOVE of H-E-Bâs then you wouldnât know what to fix.
I also want to add this note for the Mangers of the Produce/Curbside Shopper Department the same day I seen a garden spider in its HEB container, I was standing next to a mid age lady. Thatâs when a female employee with black hair and bad attitude literally pushes between the mid age lady and I. The mid age lady was stunned with shock left her into a different state of mind. I consulted her to see if she was OK. I stated to the employee that was very rude and done by force. If you wanna look further into this, please refer to your camera around before 3:00 or 4:00 in the p.m. on the lovely day of Juneteenth.
I would appreciate that you share this with the...
