Five Below — Local services in Madison

I’ve never been to this Five Below before and me and my friends went to check the store out. When we arrived upon walking in everything looked fine at first. But when we got into the store the store was in a total mess, items appeared out of their packaging and I can recall seeing insects. While me and my friends were shopping one of the workers were following us supposedly for “suspicious” activity. But we were just shopping like a normal customer. When we hit the checkout, the worker was eyeing our every move. After we checked and left we realized we forgot one of our items and receipt. It was about 30 minutes until we realized and we went back in and looked. There was no receipt and our item was not there anymore. When we asked an employee she said that she had not see them. We went to where we found the item and we saw the item we got. (We knew it was ours because we got a small and that was the only small.) When we confronted them about it they said that they couldn’t do anything about it. (Looking back at this now I wish we consulted them about seeing footage of us getting the item. ) We brushed it off and we bought another one. But, while we were checking out another employee that was about in her mid 50s. She then yelled at us and said, “I hear ya’ll running your mouth.” This was unacceptable and customers should not get treated that way. We walked out and brushed this off. I wish this was the end but it isn’t. We went back the next day to buy some other stuff and the employee that previously yelled at us was there. She stared us down but didn’t say anything. When we were leaving she yelled at the top of her lungs saying to have a nice day. But she said it with an attitude. It’s upsetting to encounter this because people this her should not be working yelling at teenagers for doing nothing expect asking if she had...

They were really good when they first opened but I have found it increasingly difficult to find an employee in the store for a few months now. I have had to search for them multiple times to help with a self checkout because that's all they really have there. I've definitely had to put stuff back and walk out a few times because I haven't been able to find an employee to fix the register. They do still have a good selection of things and it is still fun to look around just not worth the hassle of having to hunt for someone when...

This five below is awesome! It's a new store so it's super clean and always stocked with lots of great deals! The employees are friendly and helpful. There's a huge selection of make up and women's personal care items. The pet section is amazing! I always find great toys for my dog and they're priced so low I don't mind if they don't last very long but everything I've bought so far is holding up. You can't beat the prices of five below. It still amazes me what I can find there cheaper than...
