Liquor Barn — Local services in Maine Township

I bought beer there in October 2016 that expired in January 2016. It was stocked in the fridge and also many boxes of it just outsioutside. A sale price was slapped on It, so I'm sure management knew it was expired. I called them on the phone that same night to let them know about it, and when I went back to return it almost two weeks later (The store is far from where I live), the beer was still stacked and for sale, and it looked like they sold bunch of it. When I confronted the manager, he dismissed me again saying that it's not up to him, and that the beer is still drinkable. He said that they give refunds, and acted rudely like I have nothing to complain about (my time and gas spend to return the beer, or the fact that I had no beer for my guests on the evening of my purchase seemed irrelevant to this manager). I was not smart like you, and I did not check the reviews before I went there. My advice is; Just look at all the one star ratings, and stay away from this...

OK: There is this other, huge chain: Among other things, they claim "if we don't carry it...it's not worth drinking" I call BS. There is a popular LIQUEUR called Kahlua (forgive me if I spelled it wrong). It's pricey: The other chain carried at least two low-end copycats (KAMORA and SABROSA) a lot of people can't tell the difference. There is a high end LIQUEUR known as Drambuie. It's $40 for a fifth. The other chain does not carry the low end copycat. Liquor Barn does. It is called GranTully. Less than 1/2 the price of DRAMBUIE. I usually shop at that big chain. I think I may be giving more of my business...

While the business has quick response times, they are not reliable or willing to provide actual support. I ordered two bottles of liqueur from here and figured they were delayed because of the holiday season. However, when I reached out to them and the shipper, I received no resolution. They were unable to help me in any way and wanted me to go through other means of received help.
