Unfortunately poor customer service. Rather than get into all of the details, Iāll try to keep this brief. My wife and I get 4 flower boxes every year from Pesches for the last 4 years this will be. Every year we get the same exact flowers in them and give them pictures. My wife drops off our boxes at the end of March, because it takes 4-5 weeks and we like to have them up by Motherās Day. This year the same thing happened my wife dropped of the boxes end of March and sent pictures to the employee as to what to make. The order was obviously lost in translation. It was never made. We followed up and were told āwe will call you when itās readyā. Then told they didnāt know how to make them and needed pictures again. Keep in mind this is 4 weeks after we placed the order. They missed their date they gave us yet again and said it was because they were overwhelmed with Motherās Day orders. - which doesnāt make sense since our order was placed back in March. It isnāt our fault the incompetence of your employees for whatever reason lost the pictures and or forgot our order, and failed to contact us. Good news soon arrives the flower boxes are ready, the week after Motherās Day! This is when they told us the price went up nearly 50% and I quote you ādue to inflationā. Iām not sure the employee understands what inflation is! We made it clear that this was unacceptable and should have been noted at the time the order was placed. - perhaps because they put a rush on our order after failing to fulfill it the first time, they charged more. Or maybe they assumed the flower boxes were theirs we werenāt quite sure. My wife went in to see how and or why this all transpired when she arrived she was told they ātook flowers out to meet her budgetā. What a joke of customer service. Donāt worry it gets better. She asked to speak to whoever is above the Manager she speaks with. At that time we are allegedly given the Owner Chrisā email to let him know our concerns since he isnāt on site often. Anyways I sent an email to āOwner Chrisā expressing my concerns. I also said what Iād like to see happen is the flowers be put back and Iāll pay whatever they see fit. I said I wasnāt worried about the extra price so long and my wife was happy. No response for a week. I followed up with another email. No response. Just now my wife called to let them know we havenāt heard back. The manager stated she spoke tot he owner and he said we can come get the boxes or leave them itās up to us. Absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced and heard of. They ought to be ashamed of the way they have treated this situation. Absolutely a joke. Avoid this place at all costs. Itās unfortunate because until this point our experiences through the years have been good. DO NOT give this business your money. Iām wondering if Chris who doesnāt read his emails will read this!!!! We shall see. I was being far to nice about this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought bulk gardening soil/compost here 3 weekends ago. I was sent a few different places in the large store to find the right person to talk to--Alex-- then was ultimately told I could just purchase at the register. I was directed to whom I wad told was the manager for that area, ordered, and paid for delivery for the next Saturday, but not before advising that our raised garden need was in our backyard (not reachable by truck) and asked for confirmation that the dirt could be placed there. She confirmed that it could and would be delivered to the back yard, and wrote as much on my receipt, then gave me green flag markers to indicate the correct delivery location. Next Saturday rolled around and, after not receiving a delivery or receiving any calls by about 2pm, reached out to the store to confirm the delivery would still be coming; the operator directed me to Alex. He told me that he called earlier in the week to tell me that they would not deliver the dirt to our back yard and would not be delivered at all on the 12th because of weather, but left no messages. When I told him how disappointed I was that I was planning to use the dirt to garden the next morning on my first Mothers Day and explicitly asked about delivery to the back yard before purchasing from another manager--and after trying to find him, emailing the store, and leaving my phone number with another employee in the nursery--he told me that he was the manager, not her, and she had no authority to make this guarantee. I don't understand how I was supposed to know that, given she had the authority to sell it to me and schedule the delivery. After being clear that he was not going to honor the purchase agreement I made with the store, I told him I wanted my money back. He told me sometime would call me within 30 minutes regarding a refund. They did not. I emailed the store; no reply. I called and left a detailed message for the billing/accounting department; no reply. I just started the credit card dispute process yesterday after feeling like I had no other option. I am blown away by this total disregard for the purchase agreement I made, how unprofessional Alex was to me and toward his colleagues, and that nobody seems to have any interest in helping me resolve. This place is beautiful and the selection is vast, but their business practices are awful. Chris, I am hopeful that you address this issue directly to make sure none of your other customers are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst letās start with the best thing that ever happened to pescheās and no other establishment has: Mario, this man will help you with a smile in the face no matter how many dumb questions you throw at him, even when he had a cast on his leg. His knowledge is amazing and i like that he gives advice and keeps it short so he can help everyone. If there any reason i would still come here it would be him, i think heās polish or Ukrainian or something. Anyway now the reason why i sat down and wrote this review: the old man by the bushes and trees usually. I spend thousands each year here, but every time i ask this man a question heās bothered, he either acts busy or runs away but last time he was downright rude and actually i figured he mocked me. I usually avoid petunias because i can never tell from YouTube videos what exactly are they pinching, so i asked him that exact question and he said: this and he proceeded to just pull the dead flower. I know that much thatās not how itās done. The same goes for roses i avoid them because care even though i love them, he didnāt tell me that either ( in a whole other shopping day), a sweet young man who was working with him actually took the time to show me despite the old man getting kinda irritated that he stopped to help me. In fact contrary to popular old peopleās beliefs the most helpful employees there are the young ones ( i m not young btw, these kids are younger than my kids), because even the ladies that work there by annuals and perennials kinda run away from questions but at least theyāre polite and donāt mock you like this old man. And i am sure the young people are the lowest paid here yet they go out of their way to help us. So this brings the question, why should i continue to come here? Without the experts Home Depot and Menards are a lot cheaper. Very disappointing response from a business that is patronized majorly by women. No you donāt thrive on that, you have a grumpy man who is rude to your customers and didnāt even try to say that you would address that. Sounds like youāre ok with misogyny. Btw the man is a white old man by the nursery, not the Hispanic one, the Hispanic guy is super helpful. You just lost one of your best customers who spends thousands every year. Taking my business elsewhere where they...
