Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Maine Township

I’m done.. This place is an absolute mess. I’ve never ever written a review about anything. But I had to do this one. I’ve been to this location 3 times. Everytime has been a disaster. First time we went through the drive thru we ordered 3 meals, paid and left. When we arrived home we noticed we had someone else’s order. Nothing we ordered was in the bag. We went back for them to tell us “we had someone’s else’s order”. Duh!!! Then we waited 20 min for our order to come back. Ok at least the food was good right? Nope our 5 piece meal had 4 pieces, Our 2 sprites were all carbonated water no flavor and our 4 honey mustard sauces were bbq sauce. Our 2nd time we ordered our food we sat in the drive thru no joke for 20 min just to find out, you guessed it wrong order again. This time we were smart enough not to leave. After walking inside this time to fix our order we were confronted with stupidity and rudeness. It was our fault we confused them with out order. (My bad) We ordered 3 five pieces with 2 sides each, one mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Super confusing I know. Oh our food was colder than a polar bears beans in a cold alaskan night. 3rd time..... My fault for giving them a 3rd chance. Drive thru again!! Ordered 3 meals, 2 sides and 2 drinks. Pull up to the window $8.23 please. I said “I don’t mind that the total is $8.23 but I think this is wrong” he asked “what did we order he wasn’t paying attention?” (His words not mine) I told him our 3 meals, 2 sides and 2 drinks. So he had to start the whole order over. Total was roughly 26 bucks and change. We checked our food before leaving and it looked good. Ha, wrong again.. Both sprites were carbonated water again and our five piece meals had 4 pieces each. I’m not a genius at all but I learned how to count when I was 2-3 years of age. So this Popeyes will now rank with my favorite DMV. Save your self the time and money go somewhere else. McDonald across the street is...

I was literally just in this establishment today 06/17/19 at around 12:30 pm. I originally wanted to go thro drive thru but the line was very long so i decided to go inside and place my orders. I had two orders. First of all the lady taking the orders would take for ever taking the orders and putting food out. But whatever i waited for my turn in line. I placed two orders and start waiting. I received my first order at a promptly good timing, but waiting for my second order took about 15 min. This lady in the back then asks me if im waiting two more min... I didn't know i had to wait for my order to begin with. If they communicated well i would have known that i had to wait and probably would have just ordered something else. I tell the lady that she should have told me sooner. She gets all defensive and starts going nuts. (HER NAME IS KAYLA) She THREATENED to smack me in the face which is unacceptable. Their were three other workers there listening. The manager herself did NOTHING to calm her worker down, there was another lady, latina maybe, she was telling the girl to shut it and stop talking but she just wasn't having it she kept on going. There was also a guy in the back just minding his own business. There was also a customer next to me while this was happening and told me to call the police on her. I asked for my money back due to the horrible customer service. How dare you threaten a paying customer....And let me just mention i did not come at her aggressive i did not swear back i was just left in complete shock... Not only do you look bad but this whole establishment all together. I don't even know how they are still open since they are always running out of food. Like how does a chicken restaurant run out of chicken????? Horrible. I will be contacting corporate and hopefully getting her fired. I would recommend no one comes to this restaurant unless you want to get disrespected by the workers....

Just went through the drive thru and had the best experience ever in any drive through. There was a lady working the drive through that was very nice, pleasant and professional. My day so far was not the best up to this point, but after my experience here, I had to come online and share it. I wish I'd gotten her name and I can't tell you how this lady made my day. Completely turned it around. The food is already addicting, but to get great customer service like this, is just icing on the cake. When I pulled up and smelled that food from my car, I mentioned how I could not work here cause the food is so good. She mentioned how she lost 60 pounds while working there. I told her i give her a lot of credit cause I could not have done that. We exchanged some positive, friendly chatter and we were both smiling from the small talk. I drove away very appreciative of her changing my day, unknown to her. I read some of the other bad reviews about the customer service and maybe I just came on a good day, but I will definitely be stopping in when I'm in Des Plaines and I hope to get the friendly service I got from her like...
