I am 71 year old disabled person with limited upper body mobility. I also have a legal Service Animal, who is certifed to assist me. I was aggresively confronted by an employee demanding I must pick up my dog and hold him. I offered to show her my documents explaing and confirming my physical & legal need for him. She aggresively told me it didn't matter & had to carry him. I again offered to show my legal documents but she responded saying "we don't do that here -pick him up & carry him , that's our policy". A kind shopper observed my distress & offered to carry him for me! I was beside myself, I was humiliated & shocked that I was treated with such direspect & lack of compassion. Its not easy for a person who has disabilities to naviagate like others and to be treated so mean because I have special needs was awlful. I will also be reaching out to the owners in hopes that others wiÄșl not go through the same distress. Hopefully the employees will be trained & well informed about authorized SA.'s & the Disability...

Meg, a volunteer, was absolutely lovely and even shared a personal family story with us while we were browsing vintage items, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the cashier, Heather, was extremely rude, telling customers to âmove it along.â If my only interaction had been with Heather, I wouldnât return. I truly hope sheâs kinder in the future, because this store â and the good cause it supports â deserves staff who reflect its mission of...
