Booky Joint — Local services in Mammoth Lakes

I can't resist a book store so I had to stop in and see what they had. I was impressed with the selection despite the place being small. They had books, cute stationary and desk knickknacks, bookmarks, and a decent amount of quality art supplies. I also liked the good amount of books about the local geography, animals, and history. Guy behind the counter was cool too. Will definitely stop in again...

Who doesn't love a good bookstore? I went looking for a book on the geology of the Sierra Nevada, and sure enough they had several to choose from. They also had an impressive selection of art supplies, some yarn skeins, lots of games, puzzles, locally made cards, unique leather journals, interesting bookmarks, etc. The owner was super nice. I love this place! The staff are knowledgeable about the store's merchandise and friendly, they have a plethora of reasonably priced games, toys, books, and craft supplies, and their employees are Linux users. What more could you ask for!!

I will definitely be back next time I visit Mammoth!

Also, PS, store owner, please take your employee's advice and stock the board game...
