Review written during COVID-19 - when dine in option was available.
Thank you to the staff for keeping the business going, and providing such great service, especially in such times.
Quick note, the restaurant entrance is through the business building doors. Take the stairs up, we felt terrible going into the Thai restaurant and not giving them business.
Firstly, if you're getting drinks - their signature drinks are AWESOME! From the looks of it, they mix it up - so keep an eye out. We ordered the Pandamonium and it was A-MAZ-ING!
The food is also great! We got a mix of surf and turf -
Blackened Ahi Tuna - It's an appetizer, but serves as a main dish as well. The peanut sauce that it comes with, I would drink that if I could. The tuna was seared, could have used a few extra seconds on each side (to my taste). But nice and pink, tender and on the inside.
The thin, spiraled cucumber is also a great touch, adds freshness to the dish. And don't let the small drops of green sauce fool you - that's wasabi and it's potent!
Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese - perfectly cooked short ribs, enveloped in a balanced grilled cheese, need I say more? The short ribs melted in your mouth, the bread adds a great bite, and the combo of cheese - it brings everything together.
You just need a good cook on the meat to really make this sandwich, as the grilled cheese adds the richness, salt, and texture. And the short ribs are just that!
If you are up in town and have time to check out Mammoth Tavern, I would highly recommend it, even if...

Rolled her eyes at me 3 different times as she walked away. She seemed really anxious and projected that onto my friend. Made us uncomfortable when we were trying to have a nice night out. Said I could speak with the owner, but then spoke for the owner instead. She must be new. How can you treat a customer like that?
It was such a bizarre experience. It escalated so quickly. I was really taken aback. You can talk to customers in a polite tone. It’s rude to roll your eyes at them. I think something else was going on at home that she brought to work. I’ve never had such an uncomfortable and terrible experience with a service worker.
I wonder if we had been white then she would have treated us differently. We were the only women of color there. I saw some other reviews about passive-aggressiveness here too. Wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re willing to risk your evening being ruined by a...
Read moreWe waited a while for a table (which is no biggie, we’re super patient people) but when my friend went to go to the bathroom he asked the hostess about how much longer it would be, and she claimed she had just called us... but we were standing directly in front of the hostess stand the whole time... they ended up seating us, but then our server didnt come up to us for a while. When we finally did get water, we both went through a whole glass before he came back over to us... I understand people have busy nights and we are all human, but it didn’t seem like he even cared that he had forgotten about us multiple times. All the other staff members we spoke with were very personable and kind! The food was decent. I really enjoyed my turkey sandwich although I think they forgot to put an item on that was stated on the menu. The fries were pretty bland and so were the chicken sliders. Not horrible by any means, but also not the best food I’ve ever tasted. The interior design of the place is definitely neat and the place had a cool...
