I really wanted to like the food because I love small businesses with unique twists. A stranger on a hike recommended them for sandwiches, so we tried them...

$16 for a sandwich is steep, especially for to-go only service. We had a tri-tip and a beef sandwich. The beef was EXTREMELY salty and no depth of flavor. Tri-tip was okay, same one note flavor. But the biggest problem is that there are no complimentary flavors in the sandwich. It has mayonnaise, cheese, avocado meat, some raw onions on a buttery bread with a very spicy relish. It's just an overwhelming bite of fats, with fats and more fats with some heat. Neither one of us could finish the sandwich. :(

It needs to be more balanced with sweet grilled onions, sour pickles or a flavorful mustard, tang of tomatoes, bite of a pepper, etc. A $16 sandwich needs a special experience. But instead it's literally eating fatty foods between two slices of oily bread.

I would have given it 3 to 4 stars, but the price point is just way too high for what you get.

A must stop shop! I’ve gotten so many things from this shop and never been disappointed. Their sandwiches are juicy and tasty, the ceviche is so fresh, and the meats are top quality. My favorites are the Tri tip sandwhich, and the pre marinated pork we use for tacos, and then use the leftovers in eggs. We’ve also loved trying their hot sauces, and have become obsessed with their house made salsas, and the brand of chipotle salsa they carry. The absolute best thing they sell though, in my opinion, is the bacon. I could eat that bacon all day and all night. Do yourself a favor and make this a regular spot to snag all...

My coworker highly recommended I try the ceviche here and I was so blown away at the whole experience! The Butcher himself is a very kind and helpful man. He freshly chopped and prepared my ceviche right then and there to order! Since then, my husband and I have been shocked by how flavorful and tender the seafood and meat cuts are that he has to offer. This is our go-to spot if you want to make the most delicious dishes.
