Food was good. But service, not so much. We were seated right away, but it appeared as though the wait staff was overwhelmed. There were only two people there to handle dine-in and take out orders. I asked for black beans, but was given refried beans. We waited for chips and salsa. When they finally came, we didn't find out until we got the bill that they were $5.95. Plus extra chips are $2. What Mexican restaurant charges for chips and salsa? When the bill came, it was not itemized. When I questioned the total, that's when I was informed about the $5.95 charges for chips and salsa, and $2 extra for more chips.

Fajitas steak with grilled vegetables was very very good. Nachos was tasty (however, it's not in the menu so you don't know how much your gonna pay...). Service was perfect as well. Bill is annonimized, which is kinda annoying, since you don't know what you are paying for. Unfortunately, vegetarian burrito was only rice and beans, no vegetables, no mushrooms, no cheese, nothing more (even though I asked for it). Rice and beans had no flavor. Overall, the experience was quite good and I'd recommend it, but there's a lot of room for improvements.

Popular Mexican cafe tucked in the corner of a Mammoth Lakes neighborhood retail center on Main Street. Indoor dining. Dog friendly outdoor tables available from the counter serve restaurant. Good range of popular Mexican dishes, awesome cooked to order food, great salsas, friendly family servers and inexpensive. It's popular with the local Hispanic workers of Mammoth Lakes and has been around for 6 years, so they must be doing something right.

Went here a few years ago when they first opened. Not gonna lie…It was so rough that we haven’t been back until today. Their beans are hands down, the best in Mammoth. Got a chicken burrito with no rice and had salsa and chips that I used the salsa to top with. The burrito came grilled style, which I loved because held together. To be honest the beans are the star of the show. It could have been a bean and cheese burrito and I would have enjoyed it just as much, lol. My mom ordered the carnitas plate. The meat was tender as could be and she made her own burrito with the beans, pico and carnitas. Hubby got the steak burrito, with rice and all else included. Will order without rice next time, NOT because he disliked the rice. (It’s yummy rice) Just because he decided he doesn’t particularly like rice in a burrito. LOL. Chis and salsa : chips were clearly home fried. Salsa: nice flavor and a hint of spice but would Suggest some more “heft” to it. (It’s runny Vs a salsa with chunks of tomatoes, onions, cilantro, etc, that a nice, home fried chip could definitely support and compliment) You order at the counter. The pretty girl that took our order wasn’t impolite…But as a very complimentary and communicative person I can tell you that she may come off as rude to others. I didn’t really care as I enjoyed my beans and burrito so much. 😂 A gentleman came around to our table at the end, asking how everything was. I believe he may have been the owner or chef or both. He Was super nice and intuitive. Would we like more drinks, a box and oh yes…Listened to what we had to say. Which was a lot of, “ LOVE YOUR BEANS,” lol. All in all a great experience. We have lived here for over 20 years and I look forward...

Me and my Family had one of the worst experiences we have ever had in a restaurant, The girls that worked there were very rude and disrespectful. They got the orders wrong multiple times and blamed it on their system. It didn’t have items or none of the items coded in their system and it’s been like that for a while, they-put ketchup on our Carne Asada fries and when we asked them to correct it, they gave us an attitude and asked how would you actually like it then they were looking at us all weird after we have asked them to correct the orders multiple times they rolled there eyes and took deep breaths like we were a bother when we asked for the manager they said it’s not going to help, we also saw another customer walk into the kitchen because she stood there for 15 to 20 minutes trying to get service and no one would acknowledge her she was an Asian lady. I do not recommend this place stay away. There’s so much more. I just don’t feel like writing it. Terrible service and terrible food, food was not...

We ordered food to go- it was closer towards the end of the day. The man taking my order was kind, provided recommendations, and was helpful.

The food was hot, we ordered flautas and a their fajita plate. The portions were good a bit on the larger side, not a bad thing.

We also had their Birria tacos I would for sure recommend the tacos they were tasty and the meat was a generous portion.

We called and placed an order at around 8:04- according to Google they close at 9- I let them know that we will be there in 15 minutes at around 8:30 when I pulled up the place looked dark and closed. To my surprise they had waited for me and were closing early due to it being slow. I totally understand heading out early on a slow night, I really appreciated them staying and waiting to give me my food.

If you’re in doubt call ahead the staff was friendly and helpful, food was good it wasn’t incredible but it was good solid Mexican food. 3.9/5...
