Michaels — Local services in Manchester

Since the location has changed the prices are up and the employee moral is down. Not only did the one male working there today not know they sold resin for projects...he literally acted as if he did not want to work there. Very surly and kept glaring at me. There was no one at the counter when I got there but the employees acted as if I were interrupting their conversation to get rung up. I asked about store coupons and tried to find one before getting hurriedly ring up to get rushed out of the store. I asked when I found the coupon would it be too late to apply it...mind you no one else was ringing out and there were three workers at the counter..The clerk acted as if it would be a huge deal to do a refund and re-ring..all in all you'd be better off going to Hobby Lobby where not only are the employees helpful..but they are actually in a good mood. Also Hobby Lobby's prices are 15-20% cheaper and coupons are easily looked up as opposed to having to rely on an e-mail..or store fliers no one bothered to put out. If you go into this new Michael's...good luck finding any friendly faces...

So I got a email with a $5 off voucher and decided to surprise my 8 year old with a few craft items. All three items were on clearance so I didn't have to pay anything which was amazing especially with the inflation of everything so it was nice to be able to get items for free for a change. Any ways the online and ordering went smoothly but when I got to the store for curbside pick up it didn't. My friend and I were sitting outside for 10-15 minutes and there was nobody else parked in the curbside spaces! To top it off an employee came out staring at us and just stood there smoking a cigarette. Finally my friend got impatient and walked in to get the items and as soon as he was going through the doors the employee ran in behind him. Needless to say he had to get my items from another employee who apparently wasn't responsible for the curb side and come to find out the one smoking and staring at us was. Not very impressed at all and probably won't do this again. Will find somewhere else to get her crafts in the future or just...

Extremely poor customer service I had to search for a staff member ended up finding people that worked outback. The new store manager is awful. He is rude, has poor communication skills and forget about customer service. I went in for a few items to complete my daughter's birthday gift. They confirmed they had 28 in stock of one item iIwas looking for non of the employees could find it. They had something kinda similar but it was $2 more I ask the manager if they could match the price because they couldn't find the ones I needed. He rudely say NO. When I explain that it says they had them 28 to be exact on hand and staff has looked found he said well we don't have them and I'm not given them at that price. I immediately checked out with what was in my basket and left. I ended up down the street at Hobby lobby. Friendly staff and the products I needed to finish my daughter's birthday gift. I will not...
