HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Tables are way to close to the pool tables. While sitting at one of those said tables, someone hit the cue ball so hard that it flew off the pool table and hit me in the head. I'm lucky it didn't hit me in the temple, but it sent me to the doctors with a concussion and whiplash. Our waitress, happened to be at end of our table and witness the whole thing. Yet she never offered ice, didn't check on me, or offer to find a way to remedy this event. The waitress also didn't get the manager or owner either. This is no joke, true story & somebody could get seriously hurt while dining at the YEE! The owner is VERY RUDE as well, and told my husband and I we could wait in the lobby while our friend waited for her ride (due to the nature of their customers, we didn't feel comfortable leaving her there alone). We attemted to explain, that we had just eaten on the other side, and was just looking to sit where it was quieter, so we could talk without yelling. This owner didn't care, and said if we weren't eating he didn't want us in there! Have no idea why because every single table was empty and nobody was waiting to sit etc. Yet that dining room was still open/hadn't closed yet. I personally won't ever go back, especially since the food is horrible......disgusting. Rice was horrible (even with lots of duck sauce), pork was dry/had no flavor, and the teriyaki was so fatty I couldn't even chew it. Chicken wings were good, but the drinks are disgustingly strong. My captain and coke shouldn't taste like cold medicine gone bad. Clearly this is a sketchy place, since we found a pack of cigarettes on our car when we left. I feel so strongly about my review, I'll be reporting them to the BBB, health department & sending a letter to the YEE. They need to be held accountable, and make changes for the public's safety! If I could have written this review without giving it a star I would have, not even worth 1 star (in my opinion). I know I won't ever step foot back in...
Read moreWe called ahead and we were told they could seat 8 of us. When we got there we were told by the owner we could go and seat ourselves in the lounge/bar area. We combined one extra table to seat our party and then a curly red headed middle aged female employee came over and was extremely rude and accused us of loitering(due to us all looking young as we are all 21 and 22 years old) and told us this was not happening. Our server/bartender came over and we told her what happened and she was extremely friendly and told us to move over to a different table that could accommodate our party. We ordered our drinks and the same female employee came back over and said red in the face, “Once again, this is not happening” and proceeded to pull the table away and aggressively took the extra chairs away from us. After this our party informed our server to cancel our drink order and apologized and told her it was not her fault but our visit was ruined by the rude employee and we felt our money was best spent elsewhere. She brought us to the owner and we told him everything and he apologized for the rude service. It was quite an unfortunate...
Read moreFood was mediocre for Chinese, drinks were about what one would expect for price and quality, karaoke was a little disorganized but fun (turn down the reverb, and fix your monitor), but then there are the not so good parts.
Waitstaff was either in need of more help, or needed to pick it up a bit. I saw a number of times where the wait from ordering a drink to recieving the drink exceeded 30 minutes (there is a clock on the keno wall). We asked for a menu at 8:27 pm, and we got it at 9:03, I was hungry and clock watching. Our table was split between waitresses, and when my partner sat at the next table to talk with our friends, she was told she could not be serviced by out waitress because it was a 3rd waitresses table. I spent more time trying to figure out the silly waitstaff splits and timing drink orders than anything else.
I think this would be a decent dive to hit if you wanted some Chinese food, and if you don't mind waiting for drinks, ordering ahead, and accepting the temperature might not be what you expect by the time you get to your preordered items, the night scene is actually kind of fun...
