8/27 Very disappointing! Third visit in a row that is absolutely terrible. I didnt review to give them the benefit of the doubt after great visits at several locations. A month ago, I tried to order in Salem, NH and they were closed due to rodents according to a crew person outside (when I asked why). I was surprised when he told me. He said they were cleaning. Issues on two other visits in Manchester, including super greasy, super old fried chicken (poor quality). 12 pieces and most unappetizing. A young employee was also swearing loudly, "f#*# You" yelling several times literally right next to a male manager. Manager allowed it for some reason as the Team were playing around. While in line several of crew members emerged out the back door and all rushed over to a car to hang while the line grew. Not sure who runs this place, but this is unacceptable. No wonder why you cant order or even go inside. Team too busy outside. While in the drive thru, you also get to sit next to a homeless camp while in line. I would be concerned if my kids were with me. Very disheveled areas around the entire drive thru including pot holes. I was going to jump out of line the last visit, but you are unable to do this. As I got my food, the service was no better. Not a word, food shoved out the window and still red hair female manager allowing everyone to fool around. Some chewing on food as well. Nays; •Typical Manchester parking lot situation, S Willow St style. Entrance is located on a one way headed towards Queen City Ave, opposite direction of the mall. If you're trying to hop back on the highway, you're gonna have to do a uwy or take a left and turn around in Golden Corral parking lot. •The parking lot is in a typical u shape, except the drive thru exit isn't big enough for more than a car, meaning you can't really exit through the drive thru if you're trying to circle through/go inside, so expect cars at the entrance of the u turning out (there's no signage saying you can't anyway)
Yays; •Yall the food is wicked good. I've never gotten a wrong or bad order from here literally 10/10 from the chicken sandwich to the tenders to the Cajun fries. •Very affordable and filling food, calorie displayed on drive thru screen and Popeyes app. •Wicked quick service, by the time you order your food in the app and go up to the drive thru your order will be ready. •The most I've seen them run out of is dipping sauce packets. Very well run restaurant from drive thru perspective. I did not see the inside so I can't say if it's super clean or not, but I'd imagine it is. •Curly haired gentleman at the window was professional, friendly, and courteous, as has been my experience every time I go here. •I really recommend getting the Popeyes app for special deals and coupons. Read moreI don’t write reviews but wanted to after what I witnessed today. I am a manager in hospitality so I understand how busy things can get but what happened was inexcusable. The center of it was THE GENERAL MANAGER CINDY. For me personally upon placing a mobile I went inside to get it. I asked about it and Cindy stated “I’m going in order, when it’s your turn I’ll get to it.” Which was fine but proceed to 30 mins later when I heard her state a number that was 3 past mine. After that I asked the cashier then she yelled at him saying he should have bagged it. Over the 30 mins I witnessed her yelling and belittling her staff. While I understand it was busy, you don’t do that. Especially when customers are around. It was constant and every staff member she talked to it was rude. One staff member looked near tears. They ALL looked miserable. As a manger you’re suppose to be the calm and collected one, encouraging them NOT belittle them. The kicker of it all is I heard her multiple times state “they’re gonna write a bad google review cause of XYZ if you do this or that”. Well Cindy, the only reason I’m writing a review is cause of how downright rude and mean you were to your staff.
