Dear Roula and Abe, Friday I called and was told that Prestige Jewelers was moving. I was not well and could not make a trip to the mall. Will you be relocating to another location n the South Bay? Please let me know and I'll hunt you down. In the meantime, I will surely miss you and Abe and the others. I hope you found another store. Wishing you much success. Bonnie Scali

Here is a copy of my letter dated March 1, 2017, to the Owner and Manager of the Village Mall in Manhattan Beach.

"Recently I learned that my friends at Prestige Jewelers, located in the Village Mall in Manhattan Beach, have been given notice that their lease is not being renewed. For over 14 years I have relied on their expertise services and their overwhelming selection of precious jewelry.

"Prestige Jewelers is a gem-collector's paradise with their vast selection of precious and semi-precious jewelry. Sapphires are one of my favorite gems; however I'm unable to afford the color and carat weight of the stone I desire. Abe, the proprietor has upon several occasions, selected a lab-created gemstone that possesses the qualities of the most priceless gems.

"You may understand that Prestige Jewelers is like a family to its customers. They take pride in their workmanship and the quality of jewelry is among the finest. I do not know what I will do if they are not in their place in the Mall. Please consider renewing their contract for the Mall would not be the same without...

I could rate this place ten stars, I would. My mother and I brought our rings to Prestige Jewelers, and they not only fixed what was wrong with them, but they also returned them to us in better condition than they were before. For background, my mother inherited a ring over 60 years old from her mother, and Abe was able to not only clean it but also replace the stone, making it better than my mother recalled it as a youngster. Thank you, Prestige Jeweler, for your excellent service, friendliness, and sincerity towards your customers! I would recommend this place to anyone...

My friend parked here briefly to take care of some nearby business and then planned to shop for jewelry for his wife’s anniversary. To his dismay, he was aggressively confronted by the owners and threatened with having his car towed.
