As a regular hobby lobby customer, I was SO excited for this location to open. With this location being about the same distance from my other closest hobby lobby, I had a choice as to which one I wanted to go without wasting time. My first couple experiences have been excellent, up until the past few weeks. My first experience an employee acted extremely put out and rude when I walked up to her with about 8 items in my hand and asking if she wouldnāt mind if I could use her cart (which only had one pack of markers in it). the second incident happened when the store refused to give me a discount on metal (which were on sale online and in their add) they claimed metals had gone on sale the week previous and the online adds werenāt always the same items on sale in stores. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous as I knew they were mistaken. I went to the other hobby lobby the next day and purchased with no problems. The third and final incident occurred when I decided to purchase a side table. I had purchased this at the other location and did not realize it was damaged till I arrived home. I wanted to return it at mansfield being that I called before hand and they stated they had numerous of the same item( The other location had 1 other one) I arrived at mansfield and picked out the one I wanted and They refused to take it, but stated Iām welcome to return it at the other one and come back. They refused to take it because it had damage and the store would lose a few dollars. I was not about to go t both stores twice in one day and spend 3 hours on getting a side table so I purchased the one that I wanted (which they seemed less than pleased about me purchasing it before returning the other oddly enough ). They called a male to come help me put them BOTH in my car and he was throwing them around like he had no idea what he was doing, which he clearly didnāt. He continues to ask unwelcome personal questions, which were extremely unwelcome. I called the manager and she was extremely rude, I explained this situation and all she could state was āweāre sorry to hear thatā. This hobby lobby had 3 chances to redeem itself and managed to provide not 1 but 3 unpleasant encounters. I will not be returning here. They have lost...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into this location to do a return between 4:50 & 5 pm yesterday (11/16/24). On this trip I only needed to make a return, no purchase. As I entered the store I joined the line for returns where there were 3 customers ahead of me. After approx. 5-7 min., the cashier looks at me & the 10 guest behind me, stating that the register is closed. Shocked I explain Ive been here for a while & only need to return. There was a male employee, wearing a different color top, (manager I assum) near the cashier when this was said, & explained to her the line would remain open, they just need to adjust or update something on the register. By 5:15 pm (20-25 min. after my arrival) they state they are waiting for a female worker from the next shift to clock in before the adjustment/updates could take place. Broad daylight st the hoppy store. I was verbally assaulted and treated like a criminal by over self confident staff. These āChristian ultra conservative typical Mansfield Snobs caked the police. Like Texas, Mansfield, fake wealth, never taught manners, rude, everyone is so superior is actually sad. Back up north before I lose my rift to vote or wear pants.
